I'm a bit confused about the excitement of this trade. Is George Springer going to move to RF? It seems like Springer and Tucker are on the rise while Gomez may be on the decline. Is Rasmus going to be the odd man out?
Rasmus being the odd man out is okay, but honestly with Springer having the wrist issue could linger this year so Gomez is an insurance policy.

Tigers Wood playing better this week, hope he's in the hunt on Sunday so I can tune in.

Astros get Carlos Gomez from the Brewers.

Believe it or not why the Vidor Pirates are the team that I don't want to face to start district play. Why I feel its between them and PNG for the title.
Well in another thread I got a dinner at pappadeaux's with Buddy G that PNG will beat Nederland this year! You know where my heart is!
-
Bet, Go INDIANS! Buddy G is about to take me as a tax deduction!
I feel like that one dude, you know, he says, ha..... got eeeeeemmmm, deeeezzzzz.......

You guys play 1 game that is not on a Friday night. Sept. 26 at Galena Park. I chose to see a better game that night (WO-S vs. Richmond Foster).
All my Friday nights but 1 are for my broadcasts of Silsbee games. Will not be broadcasting Silsbee at Coldspring on Sept. 4 but instead broadcasting Shepherd at Kountze on that night. Crosby is off the same week as Silsbee (Oct. 9). So my choices of taking in a Crosby regular season game were slim to none.
But I, like all Crosby fans, expect to see them at NRG in mid December winning a state championship. Otherwise, it's a waste of time and season.
I'm just giving you a hard time, I honestly don't know how you miss Crosby/Dayton or PNG/Nederland. This year the Coogs win in Dayton and liltex wear Cougar red, and PNG breaks the streak against Nederland!

My preliminary 2015 schedule of games that I plan to attend:
Wk 1: Thurs. East Chambers vs. Deweyville at Da Butch, Fri. Silsbee at Barbers Hill, Sat. PN-G at Clear Lake
Wk 2: Thurs. Katy Tompkins at Humble, Fri. Shepherd at Kountze, Sat. PA Memorial at Bmt. Central
Wk 3: Thurs. PAM at H. Lamar, Fri. Livingston at Silsbee, Sat. Samford, NC at Ozen and Summer Creek at Central
Wk 4: Fri. WO-S at Silsbee, Sat. Beaumont West Brook at Katy Taylor
Wk 5: Thurs. PN-G at Baytown Lee, Fri. Silsbee at LC-M, Sat. WO-S vs. Richmond Foster at Stallworth
Wk 6: Thurs. Kountze at East Chambers. Fri. Huffman at Silsbee, Sat. Humble at New Caney
Wk 7: Thurs. Dayton at Kingwood Park, Fri. Kirbyville at Woodville
Wk 8: Thurs. Vidor at GCM, Fri. Silsbee at Splendora, Sat. Colmesneil at Evadale
Wk 9: Fri. Cleveland at Silsbee, Sat. Calvert at High Island and Sabine Pass at Colmesneil
Wk 10: Thurs. Kingwood Park at CE King, Fri. Silsbee at Bridge City, Sat. Dayton at New Caney
Wk 11: Thurs. Baytown Lee at Central, Fri. Jasper at Silsbee, Sat. Tarkington at Diboll
With playoffs, my goal is to attend 60 games and see 80 different teams.
Thanks for seeing Crosby, guess it'll be in the playoffs!

They'll definitely be more productive together if they stay healthy. I think Tony Brown will be a first round pick, probably the next best pro prospect I've seen from the area lately is Dauphine though. I can't imagine what he'll be like 20lbs from now. I just hope he can stay healthy with that style?
If Crosby makes the expected run, I think Grace and Williams combine for around 3k yards this year. With Netherly being able to peel the top off of defenses the way he can I think this offense could be better than the one that put up over 7k yards in 12 games a couple years back.
I can't wait to watch Raelon at UTAH. I think he will end up being drafted in the first 3 rounds if he stays healthy.

Footwork is impeccable, I didn't google impeccable and I'm at the bar right now, so I hope that fits!

I don't see why. It's not offensive. It's the truth and most people don't want to hear it. Truth...you see more black players with entourages, in strip clubs throwing money, blowing money on fancy cars, etc.....They make it to the league and it's "I made it, I'm partying and buying everyone a house and a car".......ignoring the fact that your average career is about 4 years and you dont have anything to fall back on......While most of the white guys make it, get married, settle down.......what's wrong with what he said? If Young or Aikaman said it...it really wouldn't make sense if you thought about it. Why would he tell them to "Act like the black guys"?
I'm saying if Young or Aikman said act like white guys. There would be a backlash in my opinion.

So you guys having Vidor in the playoffs, who do you have missing?

I used to take my food out and sit at a different table and talk to everyone to let all the kids know it was ok to sit at a table with different people. Most of the time we talked about sports. To me, Sports is one of the things that brings us together. I actually dislike posting on the politics part of the website, but I have started to more recently. You are correct with saying they do that because that's a comfort zone for them. It was always interesting when we did command climate surveys with some of the data we collected.

Cueto to the Royals, I think Astros need a bat, possibly a reliever, and Qualls on the DL.

ive never had an officer or trooper ask me to put out my cig/cigar when ive gotten pulled over, blew the smoke in the other direction. Ive been pissed several times being pulled over, I gave the officer my license and registration willingly and he/she returned with my warning ticket to sign, nothing was ever escalated by officer/trooper or me with words or physical action and we both went on about our business each time.
Was it not using your turn signal for a lane change? That's some serious "ish" and will not be tolerated Mr.

I think race relations and just about ever other relations are trending down because we reached a point that if a black person speak out on what he truly feels about racism in this country he's labeled soft thin skinned or even end up being the one called a racist. And if I white man say it's not that bad he's consider unsympathetic or a racist both sides refuse to hear the other man point of view. I'm only 23 and seen enough to no racism is still a big issue. And yes it's practice by all racist to proud to prejudice to just move forward.
Racism goes all ways also. It's a two way street. Too many times issues are turned into a race issue when it's not. Also respect is something missing with all races. I personally feel the media drives a wedge between us and we bite.
