As a Retired Navy guy I feel like you don’t make that trade for either of them. Unless he has appealed this and gotten it changed(which isn’t the easiest thing to do) he doesn’t get any veteran benefits. So I’m my eyes, he’s not a veteran! Even if he were, you simply don’t send the Merchant of Death back to Russia for either of both of them.

I asked a buddy last night after the game what changed and he said, man we had a guy come in and he basically learned the kids. He put them where they needed to be. We also got in the weight room and they worked their butts off. He also said, there has been sightings at the Wheelhouse that Coach Joseph is a regular guy. He brought the old PNG style of football back to PNG.

Anybody know how Sulphur Springs did?

PNG did what it wanted to on offense, LH defense was horrible. LH did miss those RB’s but what a game plan. The Indians dominated both sides of the ball.

Is it players were moved to that side of the ball, new DC and scheme, or better group of kids this year than years past?

Actually last year I think he said BH had a great shot at beating FBM in the playoffs if I’m not mistaken(I’m not, I right). I don’t want to speak for him, but he’d probably say, how did PNG get it so right with the coach on the first try when BH spent the $$$ without the results. Same types of schools, same types of budgets, different results!

I watched an interview with the new coach and I was impressed with him. He brought the confidence before the game that PNG belonged. Wasn’t arrogance, it was confidence that obviously trickled down to the players. Awesome to see!

Having seen FBM during the season, I know in the game I saw the were very poorly coached. Crazy timeouts(one resulted in not scoring a td that would’ve been one) and using timeouts because they couldn’t get plays in. Did they at least clean that up?

Liberty Hill traveled well also the past 2 years, 2 awesome fan bases. Should be a great game!

Playing in the Semifinals, what a run. Hopefully it isn’t Bryan and PNG are visitors. It is a new year but last years Liberty Hill game Crosby couldn’t run the ball at all(RB got hurt in practice leading up to the game). Then there were 2-3 plays that they didn’t make in the first half, fumble inside the 5 on offense and I think 2 interceptions that were dropped. It’s crazy to think a couple of plays take you totally outta the game, but that’s what happened. A couple of times it was like 3rd and 15-20 and the picked up the first down and ended up scoring. As well as they executed that offense they put the ball on the turf a couple of times. Hopefully PNG can cause a couple of turnovers and play mistake free and shock everyone again. They won’t have the coaching advantage again this week though. LH is a class act and Coach Walker can coach. Good luck Indians!

It wasn’t about Crosby or PAM, it was about Longview just having a much better team than both. At the end of the day next week is the Regional finals and guess what district is about to release the all district team.

Backup QB an other injuries and Cougs kept it close, like I predicted in this one, LV would roll!
