Silsbee is full. I already tried -
He did not participate in any of the Silsbee or Ozen Summer League games. And to my knowledge he hasn't played in any AAU tournaments either. Not sure about the recruiting trail. I heard he is about to be cleared to play though

Congrats Coach!!

I can help solve that problem....send 4 or 5 to Kelly -
Yep. Dotson is playing in the summer league for Central but will more than likely be moving to Ozen.

Petey told me that Silsbee plays Lincoln in the first round of a tournament early this season up in Dallas. -

Don't get me wrong....Silsbee is the best team in SETX. But I see a drop off after Bush, D. McCain, M. McCain, Jones, Harris, Tyler, Adams. Not that the next 5 or 6 aren't athletic.... but both Lincoln and Bmt Kelly would beat that next group by 30 -

They can go 5 in 5 out against the teams in their district but not against good teams. Although they do have quite a few athletes, theres a skill set drop off after about the top 7 or 8. You will see a normal rotation in big tournaments and the playoffs. -
Went to Kelly as a freshman. Going to Ozen or Central next year. And yes he can play.

Well considering I never said "thank God its over", your comment makes no sense. You just took part of something I said and part of something Mamba said and made it my statement. -

And tonight we will play Ozen without 2 of our starters. Win or lose, we all win because these guys are playing and not sitting around on the Xbox LOL -

That's not what I'm talking about. Example.....in the Ozen league, Silsbee beat Kelly 44-39. I played 4 kids who won't even be starters on our JV team. And neither team had all of our starters there. So the coaches aren't TRYING to win. Just get the kids playing time. In Ozens case, IF the coach,Mr. Mamba just played his top 6 or 7 players, they wouldn't be "losing" games. But he is playing 12 deep and rotating these guys equally. Just pointing out that summer leagues aren't for winning or losing....just playing time. And yes Silsbee obviously has the best and deepest team in the area. -

No winners or losers in summer league play. Every time a sub varsity kid hits the floor (and this happens often), it concedes the "win". Teams are out there just getting playing time for kids on ALL levels. -

Congrats Kobe Dill! -
A 6'10 athletic post HANDS DOWN. There are plenty of little ball handlers out there running around. The point guard doesn't have to be very skilled with that type of size. He just needs to feed the big fella. lol

Really not going to get much out of the summer leagues. Most teams are playing sub varsity players just to get them on the floor. Building for the future. Plus not all the kids are there every week. We (Kelly) will play tonight without three of our starters. But that just gives some of our JV kids a chance to get some minutes. -
