winwin got a reaction from no-look in Top Nederland Player-Leaves!!
LOL. Well I know I have to be clear on my idea of immediate area from now on after my Super Team announcement from yesterday lol. On this subject, Huntington is in the backyard. This one is WAY out of the area.

winwin got a reaction from BMTSoulja1 in why?
Comeaux and Parquet are also very good players. But hell, someone had to be left off the list LOL. Maybe I should pick my Super Super team and let 50 kids be on it. Then it would resemble the all district list. And we all know how we feel about that

Go back and re read my post. I said "immediate area". I don't consider a three hour drive to Big Sandy to be in the immediate area. IF that were the case, I would have included Lake Charles and Houston players. But for argument sake, if I had included it, Angel would DEFINETLY be on the list. And very high!

All things that Comeaux does consistently. He's usually asked to defend the other team's better players and does a good job.

I ll take consistent play every time over erratic flashy play

winwin reacted to Tyler Dixson in why?
Josh was very consistent this summer which is a reason the college coaches took notice. And defense? Josh is a smart off ball defender. All in all it does not truly matter who is better. Just that both guys get play next level because they are both great athletes and I enjoyed playing with both of them.

Will be interesting. But HJ's size will give BS problems. Both are two of the smartest teams in the area.

Honestly, I think one of the best Coaches in our District is Coach Abel @ PNG. I've watched his strategy & ability to Coach on the fly, he just doesn't have the Talent.

The UIL rules say that if a parent gets a job that requires a move then the child can attend and participate in varsity sports immediately if they move to that district. However, lots of people change jobs and don't move but, their new job is in a different school district. If a parent changing jobs without having to move meant a kid could change schools and play varsity right away then you know what kind of Pandora's box that would open. So you have to think of it not just in terms of coaches changing jobs but, any parent changing jobs.
That is why everything is based on residency. You go to school where you live.
