Those stats are not accurate for Newton anyway I’ve seen the stats for the Newton who had just over 350 yards rushing. The QB and the freshman RB were each well over 100 yards each rushing

They got atleast 20 plays in on both ends before the lightning started. Newton scored 2 TDs and Kirbyville 0. On the other end the Newton JV scored 3 or 4 times Kirbyville didn't score any.

Why do you think Newton can’t make a state run? They are loaded with young talent right now. Over the next 6 seasons they can easily make multiple runs to a state title.
