  9. Texas has been left out of pretty much all of the preseason polls I have seen (5 or 6). I think they are being left out because they are such a young team and its difficult to gauge how they are going to do. The coaches voted and Texas is predicted to finish 4th in the Big XII this year. That shows the respect other coaches have for the young players.
  10. [Hidden Content] Click on the link at the bottom called "Meet Brandon Williams". Its a video in a series talking about Brandon and introducing him to A&M fans. It was nice to see that the Lumberton score scrolled on the bottom during the footage.

  13. COLLEGE STATION, Texas- An estimated 28,000 fans attended Texas A&M's Maroon Madness on Friday night at Kyle Field, breaking the unofficial national record for a preseason basketball tip-off event set by the Aggies last year. The unique outdoor event was held in conjunction with the school's traditional Midnight Yell Practice. Last year's Maroon Madness attracted more than 26,000. The men's and women's basketball teams, which are both rated among the nation's top 10 in some preseason rankings, were introduced to the crowd. The teams open the season with a double-header on Nov. 10 at Reed Arena, with the women playing Pepperdine and the men facing Prairie View A&M. Photo Gallery [Hidden Content]
