Come on guys, we y’all know the rules for classification and enrollment. I don’t hear any 4A schools complaining when they beat the brakes off Yates in football or baseball. What goes around comes around in high school athletics. Silsbee Back2Back Boys BB Team was so loaded they should have been playing in 5A ???

I don’t see anyone in 4A beating Faith Family this year. I blood Yates but this is not our year, Yates is too young and don’t have a outside shooter and the guard position is very weak. I don’t believe there’s a team in SETX that can out score or defend Faith Family this year, Faith Family is too deep and seasoned. Silsbee is too young, HH, and HF doesn’t score enough points and the HJ coach will complain and cry after they get whipped by a team that recruits.

Was HJ missing some players or the head coach tonight ???

HISD has indicated that NO FANS are allowed to attend any basketball games played at any of their high schools. LC-M is scheduled to play at Yates, ZERO Fans in attendance. Fans are allowed for the district games that are played at the stadiums.

Hightower HS is still receiving basketball transfers into the program, those transfers are making Yates transfer kids from last year look small and slow. I can't wait to see BU vs Hightower Match Up.

The new and elite high school basketball conference, featuring some of the nations top tier programs, will be formed for the 2020-2021 high school season. The conference will be called the National Interscholastic Basketball Conference and will feature eight of the country's top programs. Montverde Academy (FL), Sunrise Christian (KS), Wasatch Academy (UT), Oak Hill Academy (VA), Legacy Early College (SC), La Lumiere (IN), Hamilton Heights (TN), and Bishop Walsh (MD) headline the eight teams expected to compete in the league. I ready like your prediction, but Yates Lost by far All of their Scoring. This year's team will struggle to score and defend. I see Yates having no problem winning the division (HISD WEAK) but it will be a fight once the playoffs start. The transfer portal was down this year at Yates, I guess the transfers wanted to play 5A & 6A ball this year.

What lucky school in district 22 will be able to celebrate that district win over Silsbee, I see Silsbee going undefeated in district play this year.

How far into the Regionals, I have Silsbee (W22) beating HJ (W21) in the Regional Quarterfinals.
