The neighborhood kids are going to other schools (Lamar High, Bellaire High). It’s unlikely we will move up to 5A. The Communication Program is doing well

Yates can have the following lineup on the floor in a few weeks; Antwon, Jones, Doakes, Elliott & Brown And the 2 bigs coming in off the bench WOW

The home school kids that transferred to Yates family members (I believe there parents) are Yates Alunmi. Udemadu and Chuks are nursing minor injuries.

Gerald Doakes is from Arkansas, family moved to Houston and he attended Milby High School, he decided to transfer out of Milby to Pro-Vision Academy.

BADSANTA Sense this new wave basketball is so corrupt, I suggest you don’t waste your time attending any of the games at The Thanksgiving Hoopfest In Duncanville because the majority of the teams participating recruit, travel first class, play in tournaments around the country, cheat and have a magnet school program.

Anything can happen in Huntsville, everyone had the 2X defending champ Tigers beating Yates last year by double digits, expect Badsanta who said that Silsbee would win a close game

My intentions were not to debate between Yates and Silsbee, I was only pointing out that It would have been nice to see Silsbee play the elite teams. My opinion is that the Head Coach for Silsbee missed an golden opportunity for his program to play in those elite tournaments when he had that back2back State Champ Team. Regardless of the outcome (win or loss) in those tournaments, it’s about the exposure for further tournaments. If Coach Wise At Yates believes he has a team that can play with the big dogs he doesn’t mind if his team gets the brakes beat off them, it’s about exposure. Financially Silsbee should have enough alumi to sponsor The Tigers. Before Yates Communication Program, the neighborhood kids zoned to Yates shocked the world and beat Oak Hill Academy.

Yates is scheduled to play 2 Preseason Top 25 High School Boys Basketball Ranked Teams in Duncanville 1. Montverde Academy 21. Sunrise Academy If Coach Wise believes he has a special or talented team he is not afraid to play those elite teams with the likelihood he will get blowed out. I would like to see more area teams step outside of their comfort zone and schedule these national ranked teams.
