  1. It sounded in the dayton paper today like Coach Stewart said his team took responsibility for the fight. He praised the QB at WOS, along with the Offensive Cordinator. He talked about how the Mustang's are a true team and the Broncos are a bunch of selfish individuals. Some pretty strong words coming from the mouth of Daytons top man. WOS you must have made a good impression !!
  2. I believe Dayton will be ready to play. After reading the DAYTON NEWS today, Coach Jerry Stewart really knocked the Broncos ego down quite a bit after their showing against WOS. He has really called out the Broncos skill players. I think they'll get the message this week at practice and have a good showing winning by 3 touchdowns.
  3. Thanks for the info.
  4. You know during the first half when it rained the entire time we never fumbled once. About 5 fumbles in the second half when it wasn't raining. Kind of reminded me of the Orangefield scrimmage.
  5. Let me ask you a photography question. I'm sure you took the action photos from the sideline, what I'm wondering is if you used a tri-pod and if you did is it absolutly neccessary. Also is your camera on auto when these night time shots are taken?
  6. Our neighbors are coming around. Barbers Hill by a touchdown.
  7. nice pics !
  8. Gonna be another close one. I just hope it doesn't rain all week and be another soggy game. Hamshire Fannett whipped us last year at their place but I think at home Liberty will win. The Longhorns beat Splendora this past week so I know they'll be tough. Hopefully the Panthers can move the ball on their Defense and controll the game. Liberty by 7

  10. Josh White, big bruising running back from Liberty had 223 yards rushing on 23 carries. Even had to play some cornerback at the end of the game after one of our DB's got hurt.
  11. gotta go with the Eagles in a close game.
  12. Way to go Barbers Hill. Nice job bouncing back with a win after most everybody writing you off after your scrimmages.
  13. Awesome, we got small school game of the week ! ;D
  14. I think it'll be another close game just like last nights game. Bridge City is gonna be fun to watch this year with that spread offense. The only weakness I saw last night, and perhaps it was due to the weather, was the special teams of the Cardinals. You guys have always excelled in the past on special teams. The receiver ( I think #15 ) played awesome. He made some fine catches in the wet weather. Your QB played a good, tough game also. As a matter of fact, your whole team played with alot of pride and Bridge City fans should be proud.
  15. I'm from Liberty and we need to put 4 good quarters together against Hamshire Fannett to beat them. I have no idea why the Cardinals were going for 2pt conversions last night, probably the same reason we were.
  16. I would have never seen this coming. Big win for Hardin. Congratulations from your neighbors in Liberty.
  17. Wow, big come from behind victory for the Mustangs. Tough loss for Dayton cause I know they really wanted some payback for last year. Looks like they'll have to wait another year. Congratulations WOS.
  18. It was a real nailbiter. Considering the weather I thought both teams looked pretty even. Liberty made way to many mistakes and turnovers in the second half and Bridge City almost pulled out a win. Now we need to play a full 4 quarters against Hamshire Fannett next week and try to improve from week to week. Liberty is very young also. The QB and the two starting wingbacks are all juniors and all but two of the linemen are underclassmen.
  19. Any updates on the weather?
  20. Bridge City 22 Liberty 0 9th grade Halftime of JV game Bridge City 50 Liberty 0
  21. Kirbyville will be to much for Cleveland. I say Kirbyville by 48.
  22. I think Liberty is gonna be really prepared for this game, and with a soggy field as a possibility the Panthers should be able to run the ball and hopefully control the game. The Cardinals spread offense should be alot of fun to watch and keep our defense on their toes. Gonna be a good opening game for both teams but I still think Liberty wins by at least a TD.
  23. Is the Golden Triangle area getting pounded by rain and whats it look like for Friday when Liberty visits Bridge City and Dayton comes calling at West Orange Stark. Everybody else post their weather outlook for Friday. Hopefully no washouts.
