  1. The two players you speak of are our best athletes. Josh White is our Fullback and he's probably 5'7 and 200 or so pounds. The WR is Stephen Gee another all around athlete. Don't know their actual timed speed but both are pretty darn fast.
  2. I would say so
  3. thanks, hey I was wondering what happened to the Bobcats starting QB. Was he just shaken up and will he be ready for this week?
  4. I agree, Sheppard can't compete with Liberty, Coldsprings, or Splendora.
  5. Splendora wins easily by 2 touchdowns
  6. Dayton by 2 td's. Wouldn't suprise me to see WOS win it though. No doubt the game of the week in this area.
  7. It seemed like 2 different games. During the controlled scrimmage I thought that Liberty dominated on offense and defense but during the game type scrimmage Orangefield controlled the tempo and the ball. I think the controlled scrimmage was Liberty 2 tds and Orangefield 0. Orangefield had numerous turnovers. The game type scrimmage Orangefield scored once and shutout Liberty and Liberty had 3 turnovers to none for Orangefield. Both teams had there bright spots and I think both found out what they need to work on to start the season. Orangefields backup QB did do a good job after their starter got hurt. These pictures are a little wide so you may have to scroll to the side
  8. Didn't Hamshire Fannett handle Lumberton in the scrimmage last week?
  9. Coop, I've got lots of pictures I'll post tomorrow of the Liberty-Orangefield game.
  10. Judging from I saw etbu, I thought they had decent size, not much speed other than 1 rb, and about average height. I posted some pictures of the scrimmage so you might can get a look at their size from the pics. As far as beating them with ease, I'd have to say Liberty never beats anybody with ease. If Huffman's team this season is comparable with the last couple of teams you had when you guys were in our district you should beat Santa Fe probably by at least 2 td's or more. Santa Fe has some real good kids and coaches and the team this year have a really good attitude considering the monster district they play in.
  11. I know there's lots of excitement brewing in Bronco land. Good luck from your Liberty neighbors.
  12. I've heard that Tarkington has some size this year and if thats true they should be improved at least a little from last year. Hardin is on the right track though and this should be a pretty decent game. I'd have to go with Tarkington probably by at least 2 touchdowns. Good luck to both teams.
  13. Haven't heard that one. Is this true and if it is, what is his name?
  14. Enjoyed doing it !!
  15. Big game for Liberty as they need to get off on the right foot. I'll pick Liberty by a td. ;D
  16. Liberty beat Sante Fe in the controlled scrimmage 3-1. The first team looked pretty good on both sides of the ball and scored 2 tds to 0. Both second teams scored a td. The game type scrimmage was 0-0 and they only played a quarter.
  17. Thats true but I'm sure everybody was hot saturday no matter what color jersey they had on
  18. Remember the Titans, Radio, Varsity Blues, Rudy, and the Junction Boys in that order !!!. Also I don't know if it would count or not but Jim Thorpe All American was a great movie too.
  19. These are some pictures of Liberty's practice Saturday
  20. Liberty has a defensive lineman who is a junior this year by the name of Arlando Senegal who I think will be a monster of a player this season. I've known him since elementary school and he's always been an exceptional athlete but more than that he's been a very good and respectful young man. Good luck and have a great season Arlando.
  21. ooohhh, now that makes sense
  22. Without a doubt the home uniforms of the Liberty Panthers, all black with gold helmets. Can't stand our road uniforms though
  23. It suprises me that the referees didn't blow a whistle when the boy was carrying the ball to the sideline. Evidently they were smart enough to realize it was a legal play
  24. I remember another one I think was in 2003 against Huffman when Eric Moss rushed for about 200 yards in the 2nd half alone to break open a close game against the Falcons in Huffman
  25. Paul Fontenot (ex Liberty Panther) will have a very good season.
