  1. I think the hottest name going now is Coach Sadler, the current Asst. Coach. I've heard from a good source that it won't be Donald Douglas or Haynes. Pretty much the only name mentioned now is Sadler. Could be a good move cause he definitly knows the kids. Seems to be very competitive and he did a good job with the baseball program so far. If it is Sadler, I just wonder what kind of offense he will go with. I do think the community will be behind him and welcome him in this new position if he gets the job.
  2. I can't believe we haven't heard anything about coaching candidates yet. Only rumors. I've heard of Donald Douglas and Larry Haynes as possibilities.
  3. what a season. Congratulations to the Broncos and the whole town of Dayton. You guys did this area alot of good. Special congratulations to a friend of mines son, Xavier Edwards #60. What a season to be proud of.
  4. I'm listening to the game and this QB is unstopable. Dayton better have something under their sleeve in the second half.
  5. I'd like to retract my previous statements. I'm listening to the game and this QB is unbelievable. Dayton so far has no answer for him. Got to make some kind of drastic change in the 2nd half.
  6. Yes I know he has put up some big stats this year, but I really think that Dayton has a secondary and LB crew that this young man will have alot of trouble with. These guys from Dayton have unbelievable athletic ability.
  7. Having listened to Coach Stewart before, I can tell you that he can really entertain a crowd.
  8. Lake Travis has not seen a secondary like Daytons. Their in for a good ol donkey stompin, or should I say a Bronco stompin. Dayton will run away with this game and win state next week.
  9. Dayton wins big. This game might be over by halftime.
  10. Go Dayton !!!! Broncos will win 48-12. State championship bound
  11. Its been kinda crazy this whole week around this area. Good luck Broncos !!!
  12. 21 3A was definitly better this year than 22-3a. I was impressed that Coldspring stayed close to WOS for half of a game anyway. Cleveland also gave Kirbyville all it could handle but congradulations to District 21-3a and I hope you guys all go a long way!
  13. After Dayton scored and made it 49-0 in the 3rd qtr, you wouldn't believe the amount of people on the Crosby side who got up and left. The Crosby fans were loud and really into it but Dayton's scoring attack silenced the crowd.
  14. I cant believe they lost either. I thought Diboll could go a few more rounds
  15. Good luck to Hardin, keep it rolling
  16. WOS takes this one by 7 points
  17. I agree, Dayton is peaking at the right time. Dayton will advance.
  18. I went to this game but left in the 3rd qtr after it was 49-0 and Dayton was putting all the subs in. Total domination and Daytons offense was unstopable. Dugat, Gable, and Charles were on another level. If there was any weakness at all it could have been that Crosby was able to move the ball a little bit but turned it over way to much to take advantage of it. Look out cause Dayton may go deep in the playoffs.
  19. Friday : Crosby vs Dayton Saturday : Coldspring vs WOS (if I don't have to work)
  20. You're right, #20 is their bread and butter. The #9 player you mention is also a running back and he is tough to bring down. Coldspring defense didn't impress me much but they can put some points on the scoreboard. WOS should win this game handily
  21. Actually the slot-backs that started the season (Dalco and Gibbs) are only juniors. Injuries and grades put them out, while the 2 that took their place (Goodman and Freeman) are junior and sophomore.
  22. unbelievable
  23. Another close game that we lost in the last minute. This one actually on the last play of the game. Well played game by both teams and alot of momentum shifts throughout the game.
