  1. Valverde earned his 100th career save. But there is still way too much traffic on bases for a closer. The go-ahead-run was at the plate. Plus he came real close to hitting another batter. Looks like JR might of calm him down again. I'm losing my finger nails watching this guy pitch.
  2. Is it just me or is Valverde giving up way too many hits for being a Closer. There is just way too much Traffic on the bases to be label a Closer. Okay the season is very young let's give him some time. His approach needs to be one batter at a time to keep them off the bases. The number of hits and walks given up is what he needs to reduce. Maybe he is trying too hard. This Fan will give him more time to produce. We are just shell shock for something like this happening not too long ago. > > > >
  3. Is it the Ghost of Lidge or the Curse of Lidge ???
  4. Is it just me or is Valverde giving up way too many hits to be a closer. I hope the Ghost Of Lidge is not haunting him. Wandy needed that Win. He was a top performer tonight. Valverde was the only poor performer tonight. Congrats to the Astros. Their sticks came alive. And that Bourn can FLY!!!!
  5. Okay the problem is for sure P I T C H I N G. Why did they get rid of last years pitching coach? Hitting comes and goes. Today (Sunday) that got back into the game twice. But pitching did them in. Again the problem is P I T C H I N G.
  6. The future is looking bright !!!! :)
  7. Wish we could catch the game on the TUBE. Astros not worth watching lately. Go CATTERS !!!!!
  8. The TEAM is in a slump. There is no consitency at the moment. Again somebody has to step up and deliver. Maybe everybody is trying to hard. Relax and play the game like you are payed to play. Maybe it is time to move younger guys up from below and see what they have. I don't think it is going to hurt us at the moment. A day off is what this team needs right now to re-group and get re-focus. Go Stros !!!! :(
  9. Catters win 3 - 1. Series is tield 2 - 2 in best of 7. Come on South East Texas you need to go tomorrow night to watch the game and make some noise. This is fantastic. There was a good croud last night but there needs to be more present. Support your local Hockey Team. GO CATTERS !!!! :)
  10. Okay it is over. They have lost S E V E N in a row. Lucky number S E V E N. Surely the fall is over. Surely someone is going to step up and contribute towards a W I N. I have faith. They love the second half of the season. Just I hope they don't get too far behind. But you know what they say. You get what you payed for. I'm still a fan and I'm not wearing a bag over my head yet. GO ASTROS !!!!! :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[

  12. [move]F A N T A S T I C !!!!!!!!!!![/move]
  13. Well did they win tonight (Friday, April 20)? ??? ??? ??? I can't find anything on the web about them. Wildcatters.com or Beaumontenterprise.com.
  14. I don't think it will be a big mistake to get rid of Lidge. We might loose some money on the deal. But we surely not going to loose any more games. That was stupid for Garner to put the winning run at the plate after you had a 4 run lead. How many chances are they going to give him? He is mentally gone. He can't get ahead of hitters. His pitches are getting way too much of the plate. He just doesn't have it anymore. Nuff Said !!!!!!!!
