5.
With all the wind and then rain, I'll bet it still looks like crap.
Probably so "t"...  that's why we opted to not try this weekend.  Early reports were that it was too windy this Sat.
6. Last time I went the water looked awful.  Anyone been lately, and how's the water looking?
7. By that prediction, I suppose Central lost an awful lot?
8.
Buddy you all hit the nail square on the head.. This all can be traced back to the price of gas. And by all means let not forget who was running the country when this all got started.... Bush, Cheney ... BIG OIL...  Why did we not finish the fight in Agafastain??? NO OIL... Why did we start the fight in Iraq??? Big Oil...
What you say is true,  but the current admin is doing nothing about it either.  In fact, they stopped deep water drilling, blaming it on the BP spill.  Now try to fathom the tax revenues that ended when THAT intelligent decision was made.
9. You guys are going to think I'm nuts,  but here goes.    I've been in business for myself for well over 30 yr., so I've seen every administration, economic situation, recessions, etc.  I aim the blame at the current economic shortfalls to ONE MAIN THING....GAS PRICES!  Now hear me out on this one... I'm in a different person's home almost every day, performing my job, and I listen to a lot of people, AND I've seen purse strings loosen and tighten.  In my whole career,  I have never seen ONE SINGLE THING that has shut those purses, like rising gas prices. When gas hit $4 a few yrs. ago, it was the beginning of all of these budget probs.  People are genuinely scared of the unknown, especially how high those prices would climb.  Now,  I've watched those fears translate into clutching their wallets, and spending only on things that they just HAD to have.  THAT translates into less income for people like myself (and a colleague of mine with 30+ yrs. experience who, to date, has WORKED 3 DAYS THIS YEAR) and other businesses.  Those lost revenues directly translates into less tax revenue,  thus creating budget problems, and ultimately, like in this situation, the kids get hurt. I wholeheartedly believe that the long term answer is for the administration to address the oil prices with real gusto, and make it a huge priority, but, unfortunately, the current admin, congress, Senate don't seem to give a rip that we pay $4 gallon or not.  I believe that we need to put people in place that will work on the real problems, and not short term band-aids.  This country needs cheaper oil!  END OF STORY!
10. Please tell your son thank  you for serving for us.
11. That lake looks bigger than I expected.
12. Had a pretty good day.  Probably caught around 12-15 bass (8 keepers) and also 28 crappie (10 keepers).  Got a really nice mess of fillets.  Caught the bass on pumpkin seed Flukes and black/gold Senko (wacky-worm).  Crappie on red head/chartreuse curly-tails. Sorry,  no depth finder, so I can't tell you how deep we were, other than around 5 ft. on bass and 7 ft. on Crappie.
13. Sounds great Bullets.  I have a friend that owns an RV park or something on that lake.  He's been trying to get me to go up there.  Sounds like I need to head North???
14. Scooter.... didn't you're momma tell you not to use those extra long Q-Tips???
15. I'm going to try to make a run up to 6 mile on Sat am.  Found some good grassy areas the last time I was there, but the lightning ran me off.  I caught one on the second cast, so I didn't want to leave...but. Hopefully they will be closer to bedding up.  I found just a few beds, but no fish on them. Will report back later.
16.

They BETTER make the right one this time!!
I'm thinking Bobby August.
[img][Hidden Content]]
17. Haven't been on the Bulldog board in a while,  but when I try, it doesn't come up.  Is it still around?  Can someone help me out on this one?
18. I've also seen people walking their dogs, when the signage clearly say "no pets allowed".  And for those that don't see a problem,  those same idiots would also let those same dogs dump anywhere they want to.
19. Livingston's is awful.  You do NOT want to go there on a rainy night.  A complete mudhole!  On and off the field.
20. Congrats to the Dogs!  What an outstanding season so far.
21. Headed to Fin & Feather for Spring Break.  Hopefully the water will be up a little...and warmer too.
22.

I believe Able did what was best for that group of kids in that particular situation. I have a son who has played on PNG's varsity team for three years and I have seen every game in that time frame. We never have nor will we ever be the most athletic team on the court. We win through pace of play and solid defense. We can score when we have to in most situations however our strong suit is half court defense. Able's strategy last night worked. There was a wrench thrown in when nobody blocked out Kelvin. Had we made it to OT who knows what would've happened. I do know this though. All the PNG haters on this board (soulja, aaw, joey, lazeek and others) are going to puke all over themselves at the end of this basketball season when the Tribe takes a playoff spot!
WOW!! Never knew I was a PNG hater. Learn something new every day. BTW, Joey is a PNG grad. ;) That's true,  but he's still a self-proclaimed PNG hater.  Can't figure out why tho.
