Although I wasn't there today (I was Wednesday and yesterday) to see it, Evan Mohl of the Galveston Daily News reports on his blog that it was a pretty obvious balk.  Definitely a tough way to lose, but if it is an obvious balk it has to be called.  Congrats to PNG.  All hail the . . . .
Let's see, isn't Galveston like 3 blocks from you guys?  And doesn't the GDN circulate to FWood too?  Hmmmmm.  What else would he say??? You do the math. And I'm not saying that it wasn't a good call, since I wasn't there.  I'm just saying that your reference has no obvious credibility.

 3.
I am out of hibernation the mighty Livingston Lions will conduct their spring game tonight in Livingston. Should know after tonight just how loud the 2010 Lions will roar!!   Remember all you guys felt pretty confident last year with the loss of Dustin Harris that the Lions would be a non factor just ask the Jags about that one, the Lions were in the playoff race right down to the last district game. So as always don't ever take the Livingston Lions lightly!!!! Don't expect much insight from me though, there will be some key personell changes and they won't be revealed on this board  by me that is anyway!!!!!!!
Are you serious?  Aren't you the same guy that disappeared mid-way through district, because of all of the bold predictions?????  "AND QUINTON JACKSON IS STILL ON HIS FEET!"  Give me a break!
 4.
That's easy the Broncos only played 1 team-Vidor in the playoffs and all 3 backs were good. They just drew Dayton  w/a good rushing defense.
Perhaps they all had an off day at the same time, but I really saw nothing in Vidor that impressed my in the RB department.  Unless we just happened to be more prepared for them, but don't remember any real probs with them at all.
That dosent mean anything.. Central garduated every Sr. In 09 And we End up going three rounds Deep. All It really does is give the coach something to tell the players to add fuel to the fire, how no one is takeing them serious..
Really????  Central graduated every senior????  A Senior that actually graduated?  What a concept!  Just messin' with ya.  I knew what you meant.
 7. I thought that if today's game was canceled, the series was over???

 10.
PNG has a big part of last season's team returning including most of that line and the all important QB. I myself wasn't a believer in teams turning it around in a season but with the right coach and a tiny pinch of magic you never know. My co-worker also told me that the back up QB from last season, some of you may remember, came in and run the football from the QB position very well. They moved him to wideout he is a heck of an athelete. They have to replace most of the DB's but so much talent coming back from a team that lost by 7 to the statefinalist. I like the Purple people's chances. They will also compete in a very tough district this season.
That back up QB (Desmond) is MUCH better at running than Doty is.  That's why they put him in on short yardage QB sneak-type situations.  So, if they can get the ball to him in the open field, things could get rather exciting for sure.

 15. Went fishing for basically 2 full days earlier this week and we (2 people) caught 46 bass up to 5#s. In 2-3 ft. water Go Get Em'!
Faircloth told me yesterday that it would be $300k,  not 600k...unless I misunderstood him.
 17. I just remember that you HAD to be moving, either w/ the tide or trolling motor.  And your bait HAD to be down in the shell, which made for tough fishing.  Well worth it tho.  I caught 3,  5#ers on same day, which is a good stringer.
 18. Watching paint dry is indeed interesting fells, but.....you aren't helping much on when to fish the shell reef.  [img][Hidden Content]]

 20. Nederland (that's always so much fun) and Brenham (yes, payback).
 21. True, PNG is losing a "stud running back", but remember, he wasn't a stud RB LAST yr.  He only became a "stud" under the new system, and I look to re-load with another better than average RB again this yr.  We'll be fine,  trust me.
