Smoked them on Sat. (no wind), but struggled on Sunday (windy as Hades) The wind was the difference maker.

Knowing Matt the way I do, I'm sure he's grinning ear to ear.  He's not the jealous type that would put himself above the team.  He cares too much for those boys.  I'm sure he's  thrilled with their success.  He's a class act.

Interesting.  The website stated that, at 7-0, "PNG clinches playoffs with a win". Then... it says, at at 6-1 "Central clinches playoffs with win".    If the part about Central is correct, then shouldn't it say that PNG "Has clenched playoffs"?

I give the nod to Nederland.  All they really have to is stop the run.  Livingston has no passing game at all.

I believe.. since the first game was at the res, if they meet again BH has the option of playing at their stadium. I don't think that's correct. The pre-season should have no barring on the playoffs. I'd prefer to not flip home for home. If we lost, there's NO WAY BH could handle the crowd. Coaches agree at what facility to play (usually neutral), then they flip for home/visitor.....or at least that is how it was explained to me. That's true, however, there are times when the coaches flip "home for home". rarely happens, but it did to PNG when we played CEKing 2 yrs ago. We played at the Reservation.

To me, since the PNG coaches are basically all new, they HAVE NO MEMORY OF LAST YR. OR ANY IMPRESSION OF ANY TEAM, other than what they scout. This is good, because to them, they're all just X's an O's, and emotion plays no part. I think this is what has helped them prepare so well.

We used to do it with just 5! PNG, Ned, Vidor, TJ and Lincoln. Of course, only 1 team went to the playoffs too.
