KDO, you've said a mouthful. This whole problem is today's society that thinks "their kid can do no wrong". Sure, everyone wants their kid to be, and do, the best,... but, what kind of real-life lesson are they really learning? What are those same parents going to do when their kids BOSS fires them for not producing like the others? I guess they'll sit down with the CEO of their child's workplace and inform him about how mistaken he is? Some parents are hurting,more than helping, in the grand scheme of things. This oughta be real interesting in the coming years.

Uh, Neumann was an asst. coach at PNG when he was hired. He hasn't been to shabby so far. Maybe I'm wrong, but I seem to remember him as PNG's OC before leaving for NED. And before that, he was at TJ. Am I off base here? If so, enlighten me.

They both seem to be genuinly excited to be here. I like that. I'm pretty excited too.

And it comes down to good, sound, fundamentals (the basics), and they do them very well (coaching, coaching, coaching)

True, it COULD be a stepping stone. But, that will only happen if he does really good here. Then his value goes up, as it should, and he gets a better job...and good for him. But then,...Since he did so well, some attractive coaches would want to replace him here. Kinda like SLC and LaMarque (and no, I'm not saying we are either one of those great programs). Everybody wants to step into those shoes.

Hey Soulja, Why do you think that is? Is the Admin that hard to work with? too much politics? Not enuf money? I don't know how things operate around there so I have no clue, but BISD may need to examine themselves as to why they can't keep a good coach. And I think you know me well enough to know that I say this with all respect to the program (and you). As a taxpayer, I wouldn't be too happy about it either, and would start to ask questions. Or, maybe, since "The Examiner" is the self proclaimed righter of all bad things, they could investigate it and try to make the district looks worse than it really is, like they did PNG's (O.K., THAT was intended as sarcasm)

BTW, just as a side note, PN-G is 0-8 lifetime against West Brook. No disrespect to WB, but when you combine 3-4 avg. 4-A teams, to make 1 powerhouse MEGA school, WB should win every time.

Like I said a month ago, it was December. What the heck does your hang up with the master's have to do with the board not wanting to release the list. Next time, just start your own thread if you need a "look at me" moment. the natives are getting restless. Not restless, just tired of hearing about the dang master's. While it frustrates me, I find it amusing that people that are not even PN-G fans or even live in the district feel the need to have such a passion about OUR coaching search. Their hatred / jealousy just oozes all over this board. Fact is, the next coach at PN-G is more likely than not going to have a master's degree due to PNGISD requiring it. All the bashing in the world is not going to change that. Like stated before, we are so, so really jealous of your stellar football record this new century! Heck, you guys couldn't even win a scrimmage this year against a 3A team (Jasper). Come on, it's pretty simple and you demonstrate it so well >>>> Arrogance gets riled up so easily.
