Who do you know from GNLL Scalp'em?

Both the 10 yr old and 12 yr olds are still alive and playing great! Mon. night, the 12 yr olds defeated Hampshire Fannett in a close one. (Unsure of their next opponent) Next game in Groves (near pool), Wed 7:30 Tues., after lightning postponed Mon.'s game, the 10 yr olds came ready to play! Down 5-6 to start the 4th, and after having a base runner taken away and an out given to them to start the inning (on a technicality), Groves played flawless defense, w/ NO errors, to beat Bridge City 12-6. The win forces a tie breaker against BC on Wed. night, (site TBD) for the District Championship. Stay tuned for updates and c'mon out and support the kids!

Lumberton is definately a growing community, but they are for 1 main reason...lower taxes. For that reason, I don't see them voting for more taxes. If folks are going to pay high taxes, they'd probably just move back to the big city and save themselves the gas and traffic. Heck, the gas is probably more costly than any money they thought they were saving.

On the video it said that the new stadium is scheduled to be finished by Sept. home opener. I had heard Oct 10th. That sounds more feasable to me.
