What this clown told me was that "They know that the recs and commercials are not the problem". I told him that he's 1/2 right, that the comm.'s are killing acres of snapper each trip. Plus, if we AREN'T the problem, then why are they cutting us back. His answer?... "Because we all have to be willing to do our part for recovery.", to which I said, "We ARE doing our part...we can only keep 4 fish NOW!" "HERE'S YOUR SIGN"!!!!!

Ah don't be too hard on him Coop. Heck, NO ONE picked PNG last year (including me). I kinda like it that way actually. Caught everybody by surprise. Can't wait till next yr.

And not only that, CCA has endorsed the NMFS, without consideration for their members or their desires. I had a 30 minute arguement at the Houston Boat Show w/ a CCA salesman. The guy was an idiot and I basically told him so. They have no clue what they're doing.

Has anyone heard any news about the PNG board? I'm a mod on there too, but the last few times I've tried to go there, I got an error message.

I'm surprised they would go to it after the success they had a few years back. Didn't they win state just a few yrs. ago? Seems to me most teams are looking at SLC and trying to mimick them, just because of their string of successful years, because it appears stupid to stay the same, when the spread is obviously better. But, like posted above, the spread doesn't work for every team (look at PNG).

If you're not allowed to transfer for athletic purposes, or you must sit out, what happened to the kid that transfered from PNG to Ned a couple years back (can't remember his name. Black running back that got mad at MB and started for Ned the following year)?

Pretty interesting to see everyone posts before the season started. Some were right on the money (Indian Chief) and some were way off (Scooter). L-Town didn't make it to state, but noone can argue with their success. Ozen, Ned, Central went nowhere and was a surprise to most (incl. me). All in all, a pretty interesting season I think. All of the heated discussions sure made it fun. Can't wait til next yr. ;D

But, if given a choice, I bet most would opt to NOT pay the $% per month for the extra channel. Remember a few yrs. back when we all voted for our phone bill. The option was for an additional $2 month, we could get UNLIMITED long distance from like PA to BMT etc. TWO LOWSY DOLLARS...and the vote failed probably because of alot of old people that NEVER call long distance. Now I pay$69 for unlimited calling nationwide, but in my case, it's a value.
