No Deez, it IS a dead horse, because nothing that is said on here will ever change what happened. I understand that people are curious, but that's not what's being posted. All I see is the same comments from both sides going round and round, with neither side budging or trying to see it another way. THAT... is a dead horse.

Congrats L-Town. Regardless of what heppens here on out, this yrs. players can stand tall in knowing that they've accomplished something NO OTHER LUMBERTON TEAM has accomplished. You should be proud. Go Get em'!!!!!

Actually I think Lumberton will pull it off. I could be wrong, since Nederland has the playoff experience (which this Friday IS a playoff game for both teams). I think Lumberton is more balanced and able to hurt them in more ways. it should be a great game.

Oh Boy, here ya'll go again. :

Simple Tigers. Ned needs PNG to lose or Ned win by 10 to get in. That's their only way. Heck, I don't blame them. I'd be pulling for Dayton too. But in their case, I'm pulling for Ned, just because of all of the Lumberton braggers earlier in the yr. Now it's come back to bite them.

It's OBVIOUS that they didn't consider PNG's crowd...duh! No one else gives a rip either. It's just interesting that a nice new stadium like that has such a puny little visitors side. It takes away from the overall effect...IMO Nobody's "doggin" anyone. Just stating the facts.

It happens for MCM all the time. This yr. there were no more tickets after like Wed... and none sold at the gate either.

No. With a loss to Lum., the best Dayton can hope for is a share of the crown. With a win, of course, PNG takes it all.

Your "supposition" is correct. Like the Bronco fan that said Dayton would put 48 points on PNG. Based on emotion...not logic. It WILL be a war.

That's what I'm afraid of. And we're still making stupid mistakes like center/QB exchange. In week 9 that's unacceptable for a play-off caliber team. We had 2 sure TD passes DROPPED! You can't do that against a team that's peeking like Dayton. With that said though, the D is still right on and it will be a shock to me if Dayton score 35 pts.

No disrespect Penny, but these guys are throwing up these huge numbers which are unjustified. Obviously Ned was caught on a down day, but Lumberton caught dayton down too. But History says that 48 pts are just unreasonable. Actually, I was really hoping for Ned to make one of those famous comebacks.

How do you guys come up with the high scores??? No one has put big numbers on us all year, and you say 48 points? Trust me...WE AIN'T NEDERLAND!

48-21 Final. And trust me, it wasn't really that close. Central's VERY sloppy. A Purple & White Showdown!! I LOVE IT!
