...Ozen just LOST! In an embarrassingly sloppy game, for both teams. It was pitiful. We were so predictable that we probably completed like 2 passes, and they were screens! Someone on here said that "whoever has the least amt. of turnovers will win". Well I don't know if that actually played out or not. There were so many turnovers, the statisitcs people couldn't keep up. Not much to scout here fellas! Against a good team, we're TOAST!

My 9 yr old keeps asking when he can play tackle. This is exactly why he'll remain in flag as long as he can. IMO, that age is way too young for wide open hitting. Their bones are still growing fast and they don't know how to protect themselves yet. Look at the last couple of years of SERIOUS injuries in grade school kids. No Way! Man, talk about the hair standing up on someone's neck! So, since I'm a moderator on the PNG board too, by your standards, I should no longer openly support them there either. Cooper OPENLY supports WOS, TVC supports Nederland and Bronco1 doesn't hide the fact that he supports Dayton too. And EVERY SINGLE MODERATOR "comments on their team". there's nothing wrong in that. If I can't support my team and moderate too, I'm sure Jordan will inform me. And if you have a complaint to file on me go right ahead. But as far as I'm concerned, this stupid conversation is wasting my time. Have a nice day.

You are wrong my good man. I let this thread die 2 days ago. YOU were the one that brought up the "unbiased" comment. BTW...I've looked all through my Moderator Manual, and nowhere in ther is any comment what so ever that to be an effective moderator, one has to be "unbiased". I suppose if I cross that line, the owners of this board can dock my pay! ;D Oh, and for the record...I will NEVER be unbiased about my team, and I suspect neither will you.

Being a moderator doesn't remove me from my allegience to my team. The FACT is if someone's going to spout off and make bold predictions, when they are proven grossely wrong, they should man up and eat a bit of crow. Lord knows I've eaten my share of it, on here and other boards too. To say that someone "looks foolish" is about as "un-biased' a comment that I can muster given the outlandish predictions some of the Tiger fans made. If I had the same comment about a WOS or PAM fan, you wouldn't be on here complaining.

I can't imagine ANY team with upwards of 10 turnovers actually winning the game. For one thing, you don't have the ball long enough to do anything with it. Silsbee DID score a bunch of points last week though. Appearently they held onto it alot better then.

Ya might be right. I think what I really meant to say was "Look and see how foolish you look now". No intent to call anyone names....I'm still waiting to watch the crow eatin' though.

Good post Tiger85, but c'mon, the "best test" of the season? Even IF they had held onto the ball, I'd have to say that LM would have been the "best test" so far this season. I thought I'd bump this thread to the top so all those wise folks that picked Silsbee over PNG could re-read their posts and see what a fool they were.

Silsbee just ciouldn't find the handle on the ball tonight. Was it really 10 turnovers????
