Not all of the Broncos on the 2017 Bronco team are kids who has never played on Friday nights. Our top two backs were on varsity last year and had some nice highlight reels, 2 of our top receivers our returning letterman, we have a few returning lineman, And our defense will have some returning letterman as well, and the rest, well let's just say, unleash the beast. I like our chances with every team in our district, this is the 2017 Broncos, we are looking ahead, not in the past. This team will make their own history.

Well starting August 18, 2017, the Broncos get started with a scrimmage at Friendswood and I feel like the Broncos will start to show how improved we will be. The week after that we travel to Willis for another scrimmage which I think we win both of these games, although we didn't scrimmage Friendswood last year, we did Willis. And our JV did beat Willis like 63-7 in that game. Last year we did have 35 or so seniors graduate but....... some not all but some seniors had not played ball for the previous coach in high school at all. And when we got the new coach, well let's just say we had a big turn out of seniors that wanted to play their senior year under coach nations. Now, if you have a senior that has played football in his 7th thru 12th school years he probably will be on top of his game, but, when you have a senior that has not played football since his 8th grade year, well let's just say, that player would be a little rusty if you will. So the fact that so many seniors were lost is not necessarily a bad thing. As the case with many teams, a senior is not guaranteed a starting spot on a team and that was what I saw with our team. I do know that we will be strong in several key positions. Offense, well at QB we will be strong,a 6'2" 180 pounder that shows to be a player that looks to involve his teammates but if that fails will turn it up, which rushed for over 100 yards in a couple games last year, one of our two top notch RB's who is coming in at about 5'11" and 205, and will soon be a force to reckon with, and another back whom will also play some safety for us that is around 6' and 185. So the 3 spots mentioned are stacked if you will, then we look at our WR's, with players like Torres, Kenner, Lovely, and Orebo, I mean which one do you want to hit, between the 4, someone is gonna be open, and with a passer in the game like Nail, who has a good relationship with his receivers, expect an exciting game. On defense we have some talented secondary this year which will be exciting and some very good linebackers, with a returning letterman as a defensive leader, Waylon Daley, who comes in probably the strongest Bronco this year is sure to make his presence known, and we have several other returning starters on defense this year, so we will be much improved this year and will start showing that very soon. Before mid-season folks will be saying, yep the Broncos are back. Go 2017 Broncos!!!!!

Well it's official, Dave Campbells summer edition has us at 4th I now district, therefore making the playoffs after a season of 4-6 and missing them. What do y'all have to say about that. I say we will be playoff bound but seriously doubt we come in 4th, so let's go Bronco fans, let's talk about it.

I like Daves way of thinking at least, that Dayton will be one of the top 4 teams in district but I'm looking forward to finishing better than that.

I noticed some scores on the list and I'd just like to say My lil ole Broncos did lose by a touchdown to Westbrook but then played them a second time and tied them, so yep I think we have come a long ways since last year, since Westbrook qualified for state and beat teams like they did. Go 2017 Broncos!!!!!!

Looks like we will have some 7 on 7 games in Dayton tomorrow at 5:30, be there or be square. Come on out and see what we got cooking. 10-1-2 so far in 7 on 7 play.

We had an injury in the weight room so it happens off the field too.

Well see, that's where we see things differently, the last two years we lost in overtime to y'all, I think this year we will beat y'all in 4 quarters. But I'm saving all that talk for later.

We gotta get there to show people that we are not the mediocre team we were last year, but I think we are on that path to being a tough Bronco team again.

You got that right, and we do have the most best caliber teams than 22-5a. This year 21-5a will take their lunch money.

Just may be some head shakers this year, that's all. Definitely gonna be some good football. We need to stay healthy but if that happens, the Broncos will be tough. I've always liked a sea of purple bi-district game.

Fightfaith is no longer on here thanks to management. Maybe another screen name and email before too long, but for now it's been nice.

Well we needed some chemistry in Dayton and looks like we are building that chemistry. I like it, I think we are headed in the right direction.

Well after the 7on 7 matchups tonight I've got Dayton 10-1-2, still got work to do but over all we looking good, and working to get better, 1 day at a time.

That's exactly right man, I think it can't do anything but help especially with the fast offense. I heard we each had 3 or 4 Tds with Dayton getting the only 2 pt conversion. But like I said I couldn't make it so I was going by what my son told me, well either way, good deal. And we meet again on 9/8 if not sooner with 7 on 7, until then.

I'm sure you know since your helping with the team but I heard Dayton lost by a td to WB and tied WB in a second game and beat Nederland by a two point conversion and beat legacy also.
