I find it hilarious that the negative people haven’t pounced on the Patriots when Brady was there. Talk about a pansy division. They were guaranteed a playoff spot every year. Of course Brady was the best, but no one ever questioned who they had beaten. 49ers lost to the Browns and Vikings on the road in consecutive weeks and then to the Bengals at home. The Browns didn’t have a winning record when they beat them. Minnesota was 2-4 when they beat them. The Bengals were 3-3 when they beat them. Remember, these are teams with losing records that beat the 49ers in consecutive weeks…..yet we sing their praises and pounce on the Cowboys. What a joke. Come at me with a little more substance than hatred.

They could win 100 in a row, lose one and people would say,”See, what did I tell you?” So easy to be negative.

Told my wife during halftime they needed to pull a Jimmy Johnson like he did against the 49ers.

I called that onsides kick. Yeah, I know, no one will believe me.

I want to say congrats to PNG on winning the state title. I, like so many others thought that was a terrible PI call. All the replays they showed during the game showed both players going up for the ball with absolutely no interference on the play. I know we have bad calls here and there, but game changers like this are tough to get over. During the Duncanville/Galena Park game, they showed highlights from the PNG game. It showed the PI play from a field angle that showed the entire route the PNG player ran. As he entered the end zone and made his turn to the ball, the defender was holding his arm and jersey. Why this particular replay was not shown during the game is beyond me. It was definitely PI and a good call. I hope PNG fans can understand why people like me were misled. Anyway, it made me feel better and PNG’s victory is a great one over SOC going for a 3-peat. PNG represents our district, area, and region, and we should all be very proud for them.

Well, it’s always going to be something like that with people who are not fans. I stick my neck out and pull for my team. It’s always the other team was no good, their RB was not 100%, the coach had a temperature, it was raining….whatever. I still pull for my team and no matter how bad some think the other team is, you still have to make the plays. I knew which secondary you were referring to. I’m saying Texas can light ‘em up as good as anybody. They earned their way to the playoffs, but you will have the naysayers saying they don’t deserve it. What else is new?

I care nothing about the “on paper” wins. It’s why they play the games. Ask Okie Lite if Texas can light up a secondary. We also have a great running game. I love the underdog role.

All Bama has to do is hurt the opposing team’s QB. It’s what they’re good at. A healthy Texas QB put Bama in their place in their house. No other SEC team did that.
