The Mafia was changing the odds at the last minute on their then undefeated team.

I don’t know. What about the vaccinated people who die from Covid. Read Regan’s thread on the pandemic. Very interesting.

Really? People listen to this jerk? I don’t! I listen to Ben Franklin.

Digg’s second INT of the game. What a catch.

That’s so dumb. If we know she will serve half of 60, why not give thirty to serve. To heck with the “half” stuff. I never understood that.

That’s the truth. What I remember about movies on TV was Saturday Night at the Movies. The first was “Snows of Kilimanjaro” with Susan Hayward. Her red hair was perfect for color on TV. Most leading ladies in the movies were red heads, with some exceptions. Bonanza, The Wonderful World of Disney, and Saturday morning cartoons rounded out the color shows on TV. Lots of the black and white TV shows that later colorized, seemed to go downhill afterwards. Black and white TV still has its appeal to me. Old Yeller was a great movie that wouldn’t have the same effect on today’s youth. You have to actually care about things for it to affect you.

I gave up cigarettes after 35 years of smoking Marlboro reds. Quit cold turkey and been quit for 20 years now. The addiction is as powerful as heroin. The habit…..first one in the morning with that habitual cup of coffee, lighting up after a meal, going out drinking and smoking one pack per beer ( not that bad but it seemed that way). I think we have habits that we maybe don’t realize until something is missing or not working properly…. Forget your watch and you will realize how often you look at it. You will look down at a bare wrist all day long. How about a clock that is wrong or has stopped. Didn’t know you looked at that clock that much, huh? Seat belts have become a habit. Couldn’t stand them at first….too binding. Now, I cant drive without it. Plus my vehicle reminds me very rudely that I may have forgotten to buckle it. Finally, my wife has taken interest in her nails. She has stopped biting them. It has added an expense but is well worth not seeing her with her fingers around her mouth. There are plenty more, but I’ll let someone else contribute.

These masked people in the store are trying to make the unmasked feel guilty and say they should wear masks to “protect and think about others”. No one thought about me when I needed toilet paper. The shelves were empty. Where is the mutual concern for me? Unless I have Covid, wearing a mask is useless, and I’m not sure that that is 100% effective. People are so controllable…..all I have to do is start a rumor that there is going to be a ketchup shortage. Won’t take long for ketchup to vanish from the shelves.

Looking forward to those bowl games.

Should have kicked a FG on last drive and made it a 3 score game.

I am entertained by the TCU RB as well. Both have over 100 yards.

Let’s see, if one is vaccinated, he is not protected from getting Covid, only that his case will not be as severe. People who have had Covid more than once say that their second case was not as severe as the first. So vaccinations and infection create the same thing…..antibodies, and both can almost guarantee less severe Covid. All the vaccinations I have had in my lifetime have prevented me from getting the disease it was intended for. MMR, DTP, Polio, etc…..never had a booster except for Tetanus and that’s about every 10 years. From what I remember there were very rare side effects from any of these.

I thought it was a good article. It wasn’t like a lot of articles where you can tell someone is trying to convince you of something you really don’t believe. George Carlin taught me how to spot stupid people. Watch it if you haven’t already. Lmao
