Like Smashmouth pointed out, the total deaths far outweigh the percentages. See, I can post high death rate percentages for the plague, but how many people have it anymore? It is still around.
Mortality rates for treated individuals range from 1 percent to 15 percent for bubonic plague to 40 percent for septicemic plague. In untreated victims, the rates rise to about 50 percent for bubonic and 100 percent for septicemic.
She looks good enough to be on Fox. People don’t want to admit it, but Trump is a leader. In times of crisis, we all look to our leaders to do just that......lead.
I think I will use my $1000 to put down on a set of tires for my truck. Isn’t that terrible? That won’t cover a set of truck tires.
When I first did the math a week or so ago, the numbers matched the flu death rate. I will admit that the rate has gone up since then. Being the optimist that I am, I like to say that there is a 98% survival rate. Doesn’t that sound better?
Don’t tell me how to do the math please. If you are going to live by the death/infection ratio, then you are dealing with numbers most can’t come up with anyway. Look at total infected to total deaths. Those are numbers most can plainly see and mean much more to me. The flu this season has the same death ratio.
Obama declared H1N1 a public health emergency and later, a national emergency back in ‘09. I don’t remember running out of toilet paper back then, do you? There were 60,000,000 infected and 12,000 deaths. WTF??
I have read that the line at HEB in PA is all the way to the strip mall next door. It wasn’t that long after Harvey. Ate at Tia’s in Beaumont yesterday and there was no virus scare there. Placed was packed like sardines.
