Is this Cleveland's ace?

Reddick, with that weak .242 batting average, lines one to left scoring Guriell from 2nd. 2-0 Stros after the earlier Bregman blast.

It was tongue in cheek..... Hence que hombre..... Translated is what a man.

Finally, a lefty who will take you on face to face. Wait a minute. That was a woman holding a camera that he round kicked. What a man. Que hombre! My wife could kick the wimp's arse.

Can't hate toooooo much. Only thing I like about Oklahoma is that they are close enough to the state of Texas that they still have good looking women.

Sounds like profit sharing to me. You could pay people a lower wage and offer profit sharing and still keep your good people. The “want it now” crowd ruins it for everybody.

I agree to a point. I have seen the Lord's word written inside a Johnnie-on-the-spot at eye level and had to respond to the necessity of it being placed right there. Lol

So true. Been a Cowboys fan since Don Meredith and Bob “The Bullet” Hayes, Mister Cowboy, Bob Lilly, and the legendary coach Tom Landry. Heck, they played their pro games in the Cotton Bowl. I was about 13-14 years old and I got hooked. Staubach came along and if he wasn't someone you want to watch every week, then I just don't know what to tell you. We all liked Herschel Walker, especially my oldest son. He still liked him after the big trade but never got to see him play much for Minnesota. When he went to the Eagles, we got to see him at least twice a year. However, my son came into the room wearing an Eagles T-shirt and I told him that as much as I liked Herschel, he was going to have to take that shirt off. Man, I have been through the good times and the bad. Three straight years of 5-11 Dave Campo made me throw up......so yeah, I'm a diehard. Can't switch teams. Been here too long. Liked the Oilers and Earl Campbell but they were always second to my Cowboys. If this sounds delusional, then so be it. I am a true fan. -
Yeah, being called aholes and homosexual....I can see where we shouldn't take that personal. Lol
-
Already read it. Not impressed..... It was written by a Redskin fan. Isn't it funny how we try to one-up on people simply because of a stupid football team they like?

Astros could bat a game and keep their average averages, but Springer could hit one blast after going o-fer, scoring 3 runs and win the game. What it takes to win games is not always .300 batting. I still say the Stros can hit any of the pitching. Ask Kershaw. As soon as we figured him out, it was curtains.

I think I read $5 billion. JJ bought the franchise for a mere $950 million. -

So minimum wage for Amazon will be $15 per hour. Refer to Seattle.....

Your last two questions speak volumes. Funny I hadn't looked at it quite that way before. True story. Friend of ours has an 8 year old daughter. Mom asked her if she thought Ford was telling the truth. The 8 year old said if she was telling the truth, why did she have to read it from a piece of paper...... Again......8 years old.

Yes, but we win the strikeout battle. There are stats out the wahoo for baseball. It is probably the worst sport for having a stat for EVERYTHING. It comes down to how the stats work together. Some can be misleading. Sticking with my Astros. They find ways to win.
-
Not every winning team is blessed with as many .300 hitters as the Red Machine. Lol
-
Why the hell can't they go after that guy? Is he untouchable?
-
I'm not Jesus but I'll try to answer. Ted Williams said baseball is the only sport where you are considered great if you are good 3 out of 10 times. I'm not going to worry about the 2 1/2s. I also notice you left off Altuve and Bregman. Astros also draw walks and steal to get runners in scoring position. With our pitching, it doesn't take high averages to win games. Ask the Indians if those averages have anything to do with respecting that Astros hitters. Hopefully they have your point of view. Yes, I'm a homer, but I have seen where we knock the starter out in the 1st inning or keep it close and blast the heck out of their bullpen.
-
I'm afraid I'm guilty of looking past the Indians. Astros can hit any pitching anytime. We have some pretty good ones ourselves. I'll take Verlander, Cole, and Morton over any pitching in the league.
