  1. Most of the racism I experience is on the internet, but mainly the media.
  2. I hate big, early leads. It has a mental effect on your game. Howard had plenty of time to throw the ball and he throws it very well. Turnovers in your own territory can change a game very quickly. Can’t believe they didn’t go for the tie in OT. Like you said, what a gift!
  3. Wrong thread.
  4. Not a requirement today. Today’s high schoolers and college grads can’t even tell you who fought in the American Revolution. All of us 3R people passed American history.
  5. I’m sure they will conjure up something. These things take time.
  6. Cowboys totally kicked butt today. When Dak is on, they are hard to beat. Only question I have is this……if the score is 43-17 Dallas, with about 10 minutes left in the game, why do the Rams kick a FG? They need almost 4 TDs to win the game. A FG is meaningless.
  7. Streaming services are too expensive to me. Hulu is $70 per month. Not worth it. I can see CBS having to cover a Saints game due to geography, but Steelers/Jaguars, they should be able to pick up the Cowboys game. Definitely more viewers and everything comes down to money.
  8. I’m a Stros fan and I wasn’t celebrating. Since you mentioned my team, I will say the Stros swept the Diamondbacks in their house to win the A. L. West. Rangers get their bats going, they could win it there. BTW, I watched the game.
  9. It’s so much easier to simply say my team got their arse handed to them and go on to the next game. Garver went down and hit (from a pitcher’s view) a great pitch. That hit was 1 of 4 for the Rangers. The bullpen for the Rangers was a non factor. To say the ump cheated is grasping and absolutely looking for excuses. Diamondbacks had 16 hits. Looking for a Texas WS victory, but I congratulate the Diamondbacks on a solid win. They didn’t get to the WS from bad umping.
  10. Texas will move up a notch if this game pans out. Come on Wisconsin and Stanford. Wishful thinking, I know.
  11. One thing that can turn a “Win it for Texas“ fan into a salty Astros fan is an obnoxious winner.
  12. Good assessment. I think this would cover all fans of any team.
  13. Not being a smart aleck, but it is the federal government and it takes an act of Congress (pun intended) to get things done.
  14. Caught with pants down….
  15. You have taken up for Omar and Talib before. They side with terrorists so you side with terrorists. Pretty simple really. I didn’t even require a fake diploma to figure that out.

  17. s) ago PINNED GOP lawmakers float joint McCarthy-Jordan speakership: Sources Reps. Kevin McCarthy and Jim Jordan speak at the US Capitol in Washington, DC, January 4, 2023. Ex-Speaker Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., could still get back into the race for House speaker, but this time with Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, serving as assistant speaker, according to sources. Two sources confirmed to Fox News Digital Tuesday evening that a plan was being floated to reinstate McCarthy as speaker and elevate Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, to an assistant speaker role. Jordan was the House GOP’s second speaker-designate, but he was forced out of the race after failing three chamber-wide votes and then being voted out of the position via anonymous ballot in a Republican conference meeting. When asked about the idea, McCarthy simply told reporters, “Some members are talking." Jordan ignored a question by Fox News Digital about whether the plan was actively being discussed. NBC News reported that McCarthy himself was floating getting back in the race. It comes as Republicans have failed to fill the speaker's chair for nearly a month, with three consecutive nominees being struck down by in-fighting. It is unclear whether the latest nominee, Rep. Mike Johnson, R-La., stands a better chance than those who came before him. The first nominee, Rep. Steve Scalise, was brought down by allies of Jordan. Scalise and McCarthy's allies then crippled Jordan's nomination in turn. Finally, Rep. Tom Emmer, R-Minn., faced an all-out assault by former President Donald Trump, who opposed his nomination. The House is expected to reconvene at noon Wednesday for a full floor vote on Johnson's speakership bid.
  18. Something that your stolen diploma can’t deal with.
  19. Isn’t this the same thing they accused Trump of doing? She is inciting a riot. [Hidden Content]
