Lots of good teams have had goal line stands against them by lesser opponents. Give Strong a chance. You gave Fran a chance. Probably even bragged about how good things were going to get with Fran. Then came Sherman and the same stuff......"just wait and see".....yet you have to try and bury Strong before he gets his feet wet. Lots of teams would have kicked a FG.

Nothing to crow about. Plenty of Ags will make fun of any other team playing a cupcake though. They would have several,pages to say about that. Serious question: How long do the Ags play their starters? How many points do Ags have to score to keep their ranking's position?

Man, some people just like to bitch. George Blanda was the first pick for those of you interested. Most of you never saw him play, maybe even heard of him. Old Timer, you think Spurrier can rebound after that embarrassing loss to Ags? Is Georgia that good, is SC that bad? Pollsters think so because they dropped out of sight, but I happen to be One of the few that like Spurrier and think he will have his team prepared. If Georgia is that good then they should have leap frogged #1 or #2 who should have dropped.

Man, I can see it all now. Every Cowboy game, the cameras will pan to the "new section" where we will see all the Pom poms, pink shirts, rainbow colors and the like. It will look like the cheerleading squad in Adam Sandler's " The Longest Yard"! They will get more air time than the beautiful Cowboy Cheerleaders!

I liked the article in that it showed UT was NOT the only culprit against a conference network. Read closely. All the Ags trying to lay blame squarely on UT's shoulders when they were just as GUILTY. Talk about two faced! Ags, really, that's all you live for is to find fault with UT. What an existence that must be. For most people, the second thing out of their mouths when being introduced to someone is not which college they attended.

I agree with the cuts and I know times are totally different than when I was a kid. Poor kids, can't have fun like I did. What needs to happen is to get some of those moms off their butt, crank that Nissan Altima, and drive and pick up that kid of theirs. School is not an 8 hour day care, although it sure seems that is what school has become.

Top two teams in sec last year stepped out of conference and got whipped (Florida State and Oklahoma). A simple fact that seems to always be overlooked. This year already, top two teams in the country were almost beaten by unranked teams. They should have dropped and all of you know it. Why all the jawing?

The two ranked teams were #1 and #2. Their unranked opponents did not win but scared the crap out of them. One or two plays and the score is reversed. Both should drop in the rankings. Also speaks volumes for the pollsters and their top 25. Ags suck up to their conference teams now but showed absolutely no respect for any conference team when they were in the Big XII. Funny how that works. Must be an Ag character flaw.
