2. >:(
maybe the pirates are kicking butt and da bears are just not that good....lol
They sure were hyped.
 3. Great half Vidor. Game is not over. Go get 'em!
 4.

I respect every opponent in the playoffs, otherwise they wouldn't be there. Same respect should be shown for the Dogs. GCM did have lots of penalties. Most were the bonehead personal foul type. They got lots of yards between the 20s but Ned's defense held when they had to. GCM could not even kick a FG. Even missed an extra point (badly), which is why they ended up with 6. I look for a good game this week.
Not going to discuss the merit of scoring from inside the 20. We seemed to do ok. As far as the kicker, you're wide right on that one.
The lack of FG kicking ability forced GCM to go for it on 4th down and Ned was able to come up with some stops. Going 70-80 yards and coming up empty takes it out of a team. Unfortunately I'll have to miss the Stratford game due to work. Someone keep me posted. ;D

 6.

you can talk d 1 all day long this is high school football remember when nederland played yalls D 1 q b at reliant a few years back in which he is the L S U  q b  or was until the Alabama game we beat yall with a backup  Q B after our starting Q B went down with a injury
Get your facts straight man.  In 2006, we played PNG in Reliant with that LSU QB and beat them 33-9.  In 2007, your team beat us playing a first-year starter at QB named Kyler Crenshaw who went to school on a baseball scholarship.  The score was 29-28, that's all.  2007 was a rebuilding year....
How did Brenham finish up that year? Still a good win for Ned against a quality team.

Who is ranked higher than you? Thanks.
#1 Lake Travis #2 Denton Ryan
Thanks again. Liked your videos of the DL and LB heading to Texas. Unbelievable! Ozen has their work cut out for them.
 8. Brenhamfan, you are ranked 3rd? Who is ranked higher than you? Thanks.
 9. In this country, we have freedom of religion, not freedom from religion. People praying at a high school football game does not infringe on your right not to pray. However, saying we can't pray because you don't want to hear it does infringe on our rights to express our constitutional right to worship whomever, wherever, whenever we please. Like someone mentioned, religion is a strong influence in all societies. It is probably the main and sole reason for most wars throughout history. THAT is forcing your will and religion upon someone, not praying over a loudspeaker. I'll say it again. This is NOT about prayer. It is simply another step in the attempt to further decay the moral fabric that binds this country. This great country cannot be defeated militarily, so the overtaking must come from within. At the risk of sounding paranoid, this is how the Communists feel. I believe 9/11 was a wake up call. We realized just how far away we had strayed from one another. Ok, I have gotten way off topic, but I said what I feel. GoDogs, I have no ill feelings towards you or anybody else who prefers not to believe. I will say that your moral outlook and caring was instilled by good parenting and the fact that they took you to church when you were young.
 10. I hate to be redundant but it seems I must. This is not about "prayer". It is about leverage/control. The End.
 11.

Razor, I hear Stratford is better than their record too. Isn't it funny how no team is ever worse than their record? Gotta be true sometimes.  ;D
Yeah Barbers Hill.. lol oops did i just say that? p.s. save it BH fans, I know, I know you beat us...
GoDogs, that would be hindsight. When people hype their team, they are always better than their record, unless they are undefeated.
 12. Razor, I hear Stratford is better than their record too. Isn't it funny how no team is ever worse than their record? Gotta be true sometimes.  ;D
 13. Like I said, it is not about prayer. It is about a minute populace wanting to get their way. Using your mentality, it is alright to have gay thoughts in your head, but it sure is broadcast for everyone who does not think that way. I do have the choice to turn the channel or not reading the article, which is all anyone is asking of you.
 14. Folks, this is not really about prayer at all. It is simply the fact that the good people of this country have to bend over backwards for the few crybabies in the world  so as not to offend. I'm sick of it, to be honest. I'm not going to change the way I live to accommodate the minority. I am also not going to shut my pie hole and listen to you cry because it is "politically correct". Times are changing. It's time to hear my side and if you don't like it, so what?
 15.
The CRAP they play now is not even music so lets play some sixties or seventies when music had some sould. Some Little Richard, Elvis, or even some wild Peter Frampton. Did you ever think that Alice Cooper would be labeled as boring?  :o
Have "Love It To Death" and "Killer" in my truck now. I guess I will continue to wear ear plugs to Lamar. Thought they lost their University status.
 16. Need to keep an eye on #2. WR named Andrew Michael. Had 7 catches for 200 yards and 2 TDs against us. Green can throw the ball on a rope. I have no videos.
 17.
I hope the coaches look on here so they can see what we are seeing as fan of high school football. I have been watching football for many years and can say i know football as good or better than some coaches half my age, just because you have a degree in coaching doesnt make you a know it all. Just some opinions on here is not saying they are bad coaches just some insight to try some things that we see works. We do have the best coaches in the area but they make mistakes too. we love our bulldogs and want them to succeed . Go Dogs beat the Spartans
Good post. That's what it is all about.
 18. Ozen's first play of the game should be a long bomb. Even if it is incomplete, it makes the defense adjust right from the get-go moving people out of the box. This can open up the run game. If they still stack the box, throw over the top. Green is very capable of doing this. Just the way I play football and probably why I am not a coach.  ;D On defense, limit the mistakes and don't overpursue. Make things happen and try to create turnovers.
 19.
The only thing wrong with the passing game is it is predictable. GCM did their homework in the film room. Get the running game going and mix in some play action. The flanker screen works if blocked well, but if the play is jumped, it's a pick six. Had a receiver open on a long pass that was interfered with but not called. We can get open, but the running game was moving the ball, so don't get cute with the play calling. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. I like a play action roll out with the TE rolling the same direction.....always with the option to run. Remember how well that worked?
20. Prayers from the Robinson family in Nederland.

 22. More prayers from Nederland. This is terrible. I feel for the parents. Losing a child is the worst thing that a person can bear.
 23. Ozen, if you are going to win state, which is the dream of all teams, sooner or later you are going to have to play a team like Brenham. You have to make your stand and take it up a notch. Play mistake free ball. Brenham is very tough. This is the game you played all year to be in. Good luck.
