Old Timer, from Texas I saw some spurts of great running and passing mixed with some wtf. The first half was very exciting. Second half got away from us. Baylor started hitting their receivers and the run game opened up but still a great effort from the Texas D. Everyone knows that offense begins with the QB. He was thrust into this situation and I will give him time to develop. The timer in his head needs adjusting as to when to scramble. He is a half second late for takeoff. I thought the o-line openedup some holes and it will get better. Remember, we were not supposed to be on the same field with a 7th ranked team. That mentality seems to be losing its luster. We will get it right. Texas didn't look anything like the team that played Kansas last week. That was sickening and we won.

King, as a true fan you have to take the bad with the good. I haven't left Texas and everyone knows we are struggling. Very difficult to do especially with an Ag around every corner waiting to take thier shot. But then you have weeks such as this and see most of the top teams lose their arse and it gets easier. Watching lsu get pummeled into oblivion was delectable. Who would have thunk than Mississippi and Mississippi State would be undefeated after 5 games? Hang in there. Teams have to find the right combination for winning (coaching and players). Some make a change and it works immediately (Ags, although they made several changes before this last one) and some it takes longer. It will happen.

Totally wrong. Most Texas fans on here have admitted we suck. We just don't try and hide behind a conference. But of course I don't expect you to try and stand on your own merits, you have to make some type of comparison to ease the pain of SUCking. LSU's sucking is second to none!

See a lot of positives in this game. I'm positive LSU is getting their arse kicked. Auburn is unstoppable.

Texas had a TD called back for a lame holding call, then had it at the goal line and had a fumble recovery called in Baylor's favor. Things like this can take the wind out of anyone's sails. I know, crying about the refs, but everyone knows what I am talking about.

Also can't believe Baylor is ranked #7. Hey, Baylor has some cheap shot artists too!

sec.....they are great because of their conference and they are bad because of their conference. Its a win/win situation and the stupidest way to view their success/failure that I have ever seen. The only reason behind such a mentality is to insulate oneself from crow dinners. It's like racing your truck against a truck pulling a trailer. If he wins, he did it pulling a trailer.
