1.
Astros can come up with more ways to loose a game.
Pitching to Fielder with a rightie is one way.
2. What a play. Good call though.
3. If Wallace could catch, that would have been a triple play.
4.
What a horrible no call strike on Braun on strike two then he hits the two run bomb............ thanks blue.
....the reason both managers got tossed last night.
5. Only Bourn could have scored on that double by Sanchez.
6. Not a problem.
7.
Central couldn't beat PNG if the Jags had Josh Beckett on the mound!! :D
A post has been deleted. It was the one I was answering.
8. Central is PNG's last opponent in district play.
9.
Lynda Porter won the golf cart and Tony Gallardo won the pitt. Congrats to both.
Thanks. Let's Go Dogs! Bats wake up this inning!
10. Would like to know who wins the BBQ pit and golf cart. Go Dogs!
11.
Was there any lightning? Just kidding. Congrats to the Dogs!
Yep, the lightning was the Dog's bats.
12. Played a complete game and the score gap widened. Great win Dogs. i believe that this win coupled with the LCM loss makes the Dogs district champs, but I will let the experts decide. Go Dogs!
13. Prayers from Nederland to family, friends, and community........so sad.
14.

Recap of the 2nd inning for Nederland 23 batters, 17 runs, 12 hits, 9 singles, 1 double, 2 Hr's, 7 BB's, 1 E Not a bad inning for the Dogs
That's got to be a record of some sort....WOW!!
I would think so too. Way to go Dogs. Keep it going!
15.
I am a new poster but not new to the site. I don't have a dog in the fights but this is what I thought about the game. I'm not sure of pitch count but I would have stayed with Stone longer as well. I was very surprised to see him get pulled. I thought he labored through what seemed like every inning. Ned hitter did a good job of working the count and getting to the pin. I haven't seen Nederland play this year but was very impressed with their pitcher and the pace which he worked. He worked ahead in the count and threw strikes. It was a good game until the 4th when the wheels came off the wagon.
The wheels falling off is known as the inning from hades. It can be and usually is enough to win the game for your opponent. Ned had the inning from hades against Vidor (all of Vidor's 7 runs were scored there) and lost. It happens......it's baseball.
16. I don't think one bad call makes up 3 runs, just like I don't believe the weather stopped a team from winning. It's much easier to dwell on a negative than to admit defeat. Go Dogs!
17. Struck out the side to win it! Great Win Dogs! WOOF!!!
18. Dogs showing why they are in first place. WOOF!
19. I could be wrong, but didn't Evadale have about the same team last year and didn't fare well?
20. She's the one on the left.  ;D [img][Hidden Content]]
21.
Tiger's only chance after he finished was to hit on that trophy wife of Scwartzel.
;D She was a hottie, but I preferred Jason Day's ponytailed gal. [img][Hidden Content]]
22. Actually, Vermont was the first destination, then on to Maine. Boston was as far as we could fly, so Fenway was just some icing. The Sox are away during our stay. Oh well.
