venom, you sure know your MMA stuff. I work with some guys who love this stuff and I have seen Fedor fight a number of times. They know this stuff inside and out too. They will tell you, and so will I, that Fedor is the best there is. My personal favorite was decking Arlovski during a jump kick attempt.....landing him face first on the canvas.  :D

Forney, Smith, Cunningham, and Hadnot deserve to be there. They won district where other basketball schools have ruled for years.  Plus they went 3 rounds deep in the playoffs. I refuse to let anyone diminish the efforts and results of these kids. If you want to call it watered down, you can start below these guys.

When Kelly or Lumberton string together eleven 100 point games and start beating people by 50, 60, and 70+ points, you'll have people jumping out of windows.....and yes, the criticism will be there. If they are truly studs, then any team would have problems with them. They can't have any more studs than Ozen or Central. Nederland needs to try and play turnover-free ball. The shots will drop.

Just going by what I read on here. I personally don't know the kid. I made nothing up either. I don't see why anyone would make things up about the bat and gun either. Reread my post. It was mostly a question. Don't the kids get a chance to meet their coaches before signing?

So what happened? I hear he was cutting classes and making poor grades (forgivable). Even not getting along with the coach is forgivable. But when a kid hits people with a bat and later on, a gun is pulled (if he indeed pulled one), then he loses my support. This is not something that can be condoned by saying he made bad choices. I'd feel this way about anyone. So what is it? Did he pull a gun?
