I countered with the fact that we turned the ball over 7 times and lost our QB. You and others claimed I was whining about the loss. Now you and others have spoken about penalties and ''playing bad'' ( that's a good one BTW) as to why K'ville played you so close. Shouldn't I call that excuses or whining as you like to say? Hey Gas, why is it when I mentioned our turnovers and losing our QB, it was considered crying, but when y'all talk about your penalties and bad play, it's just good football talk? Is it simply because you won?

Which house and which 2? ??? I bet the house that two of these drop out. ;D Not picking any. Just doing the math. Three teams from the same district can't go unbeaten, unless they tie....on which I will still bet the house.

Where did they end up playing?

Let's see now almost everyone on the defense started in a new position, plus several that were new on defense. The first half was a learning experience but the second half they began to put pressure on the Waller offense. This group will continue to get better so I wouldn't put a lot of stock in the battle for 4th! A new RB and a new QB and we still scored 27 points and I am sure someone can figure out how to spin this into the Dogs at best getting to 5th place. But I wouldn't bet the farm on that! Good post. I wasn't able to make the game for my work. How did Tyler look? Did he have some good composure? It's what I look for in a QB. I hear the out and up was dead on. I hear they moved Lovelady to bandit. I think the Bulldogs played excellent considering 7 freakin turnovers and losing their QB. An INT for a TD (be sure and clip Bellow in the process) and another INT in close range, blown coverage on a long pass. Gee, I guess I'm just blind. You can keep your condescending tone to yourself too. Let's not just pick on my Longhorns. Besides OK ST. vs. Georgia, and OK vs. BYU, name another tough college game this past weeekend. Let's not forget the national champion's, Florida's, games against Charleston Southern and Troy. Man, you got small schools lined up to get their butt handed to them by Texas. They get some exposure and make some huge bucks, especially if it has tv coverage. Plus, these kids get to actually say they played against Texas, something they will always remember even in a loss. I already gave Vidor the OK to play these teams. ;D If you're suppossed to kick someone's butt and you do it, then you did your job. If you are Ohio St. and Navy almost kicks your tail, then you should drop down a few notches. But you really can't compare high school and college football. It's a whole nother level.

Thanks baddog. I guess I do like you, even if you are a Cowboys fan. And to all you haters out there, I do agree we need stiffer competiton in pre-district. Check some of my earlier posts. But for you to come on here to cut down our boys like they are pushovers just because they play the teams that the coaches schedule? What the crap? Our boys do their job and they do it well. At least have the cohanas to recognize that and give credit where credit is due. The fellow I'm quoting obviously has them ... how about you? So, I'm glad you pointed that out baddog. Kudos to you. Man, I agree with 85. What's the world coming to? Westfield is always athletic and fast. Jamaal Charles put 400 yards rushing on 50 carries against them a few years ago, but that was Jamaal Charles.

Just curious. Isn't St. Thomas where Craig Biggio coaches the baseball team? I hear he helps coach football also and was wondering if anyone saw him. One more thing, if a team plays someone that others think doesn't mean much, but the score ends up the way this one did, then Vidor did their job.
