Obviously, Kirbyville will be going large school if they take care of business and Newton will go small school if they take care of business. Who does it look like they could play in the first, second, third, and fourth rounds if the other good schools take care of business in their districts. What a joke this Mid-season publication is! For example, look at the Shelbyville write-up. They don't even have the correct name of the coach as Mid-Season Region III coach of the year. They are still listing the head coach as Upshaw! That's the FORMER coach of Shelbyville! Plus, they are talking about how tough it is going to be for Shelbyville being in Corrigan-Camden's district! That was last year's district!

Crockett D is solid! Tough test for both teams! Heard Crockett is huge on their defensive front! Good LBs and DBs! That's a long trip on a yellow dog all the way to Crockett.

Kirbyville looked like they hadn't played a game in 20 days... which was the case. Defense played well though. Offense was sluggish. Not a good night for them.
