I believe Sabine Pass beat Kountze 7-1 no confirmation on the exact final this is just what I was told.

That was a very ugly game played by Kuontze. Kirbyville played flawless ball. They looked great. Kountze looked very good against Newton, but awful against Kirbyville.

Kountze won this morning 6-5 against Legacy Christian

It all has to change starting from the top of the KISD INSANITY= DOING THE SAME THING OVER AND OVER EXPECTING TO ACHIEVE DIRRERENT RESULTS. Parents and kids have tried to make thier voice heard, but no one listens.

A year ago I would have put Kountze's kicker/punter in this topic. He has had a lot of punting time this year, and has done well. He is either losing interest or they are not practicing kicking. I would have to give my nod to Trahan at this point.

They will not quit taking basketball so serious. Look at their scheduled by weeks the last couple of years and ask why then.

I will be there this afternoon and let you know this evening. I am concerned about what the weather is going to do on Thursday and Friday. If it rains more (which is likely) the field will be another mud bowl.

I will wait until the final game of the season for Kountze this year. Then and only then if someone brings this thread back to life I will tell all what the real story in Kountze is. Utfan you do not know.

Thread is accomplishing nothing and needs to be deleted. The kids in Kountze are playing well and are buying in and believing they can win. There might be some conflicts in the coaching staff, but this topic is NOT what the kids need to be reading in the middle of district play. Right now they are focused. UTFAN I don't know who you are or how you are involved in the Kountze football program, but you obviously do not have all your information and need to keep your opinions to yourself. Kountze has the athletes to compete and will in the near future.

I also believe they can beat hardin. They got beat down by Buna. Kountze is on the right track, the kids are buying into what Stewart is selling and they want to win. The attitude of the kids is changing. I think they will absolutely have a legit shot next year at making they playoffs. As I understand it they will only lose 5 or 6 players this year to graduation. Tomorrow night we will see how much heart the Lions have and who steps up. I know they are ready to play.

I thought it was a well played game the first have considering the elements. Deweyville seemed to have Kountze's number in the first half. Half time score was 8-6. Kountze received the ball to open the second half and ran it back for a TD. That seemed to take the air out of them. Kountze's kicker was off last night missed an extra point and a 30 yard field goal. Kountze needs to put this win in the books and forget about it and prepare for Hardin.

Chamis Dilts kicked the 24 yard field goal in overtime to give Kountze the win. Kicked the extra point for the Lions and had one field goal tipped at the line with 02 seconds left.

Excellent game by both teams. There were so many things that happened during this game. It was a great game to watch.

After reading this I saw no where mentioned how Lumbertons kicker is missing. Are his kicks being blocked, missed right, left or not far enough. There are great coaches at Lumberton that can and will fix the mechanics. If a kicker is slightly off in his steps or approach or hips are not turning at the right moment then the ball will not go where it's supposed to. It is really very simple, but complicated to to carry out. I watched Lumbertons kicker when he kicked with my son. He will be just fine. If the kicker from Lumbertons reads this he needs to remember exactly what he was tought this summer. That will take care of any mechanics that are slightly off. Go back to your no step drill.

Going to be an interesting game. I will voice my opinion. Kountze has turmoil and the better get it resolved before Monday's practice or this is going to disrupt the entire week and the boys will NOT be focused.
