Kountze will be. I don't think it can get any worse than what happened last week.

Congrats to Woodville. They are a very disciplined group of kids and very well coached. I watched every play of this game. 7 fumbles turned into 7 touchdowns. Kountze had about three very good drives and fumbled around the 20. Kountze is lacking in basic fundamentals, blocking, tackling etc. They will improve. All I can say is WOW. Hopefully the kids will take this loss and build off of it. We also dropped 2 kickoffs and Woodville recovered. It was just HMMMM what do you call it "Kountze was taken behind the shed and give a good old fashion butt kicking"

Admin, if you are asking about the Kountze kicker he will be back. He will be starting his junior year so Kountze has him for two more years.

MMSLB, I agree with what you have said. I kickers have a different kind of pressure. As Lions is saying if they run out there and have to kick a field goal to win or lose a game is tough, and yes if the kicker has the opportunity to kick for a win then the team did their job, but if the kicker misses then all heads turn to the kicker for missing and losing the game, and more often that not if the kicker does miss the kick for a win he will blame no one but himself for the L in the colum instead of the W. I am a firm believer you either win or lose as a TEAM.

He made an apperance at the school yesterday and introduced himself to the kids and there is now a buzz around campus and the kids who didn't play last year are wanting to come out and play now. This is good for Kountze. I just hope he likes to kick field goals. I spent many years working with his father in law and he is a great fit for the Lions.

I SPOKE WITH SEVERAL OF THE KIDS FROM KOUNTZE YESTERDAY AND ALL ARE VERY EXCITED TO COACH STEWART IS COMING. THEY ACTED AS IF THEY WANTED TO PLAY NOW. I HOPE THE ATTITUDE STAYS THE SAME. WHO KNOWS CHANGE THE KIDS ATTITUDE ABOUT PLAYING AND THEY COULD BE A TEAM TO WATCH NEXT YEAR.

We are fortunate to get him and I look forward to meeting him. I believe he will be great for the Lion program.

It will not take them long to find a head coach. They have their list of candidates. I am sure they will announce something after the school year is over. No need to disrupt anything at this point. Kountze will never hire a head coach as the AD. They have a couple of good candidates who want to come to Kountze now we have to hurry up and wait.

Where is Kountze?

Matt is a great instructer after only one lesson he has tought my son things that all the camps he has been to have not. It is amazing how just a few small adjustment can add distance and height to your field goals and kick offs. I look forward to the next lesson.

This game started around 3 or 3:30 from what I am being told. Anyone have any updates. I obviously missed this one.
