This will all depend on which Kountze team shows up. Buna will be ready to play. If Kountze is ready and on their A game (so to speak) this will be an excellent game. I will be there for this one. It will also depend on who pitches for Kountze these boys will have to get their heads right and come focused.

From what I saw on Saturday afternoon, if Kirbyville plays like they did on that day they will in fact be hard to beat. They are a very disciplined group of kids who hang on every word their coach says. It will be fun keeping up with them this year. Good luck Kirbyville.

From what i have heard Silsbee's ball club is made up of a lot of freshman and sophmores, but DO NOT let that fool you these kids can play ball. Whoever is pitching for Kountze better bring their A game.

If it is indeed Kountze then what I posted three or four months ago was true. I do know (like everyone else) Hodges does not want to be there, and I have heard the reasons, but I could never confirm what was told to me.

My backyard is plenty big enough to handle about 40-50 people. Bring your own food and beer we can throw it on the grill and if anyone gets out of line we can bury them in the back 40.

Bucster, Kountze kept with tradition of not making the playoffs. As for their quarterback position there are two players that can fill those shoes, but that is not the important thing to watch out for this off season. Keep your eyes out for coaching changes.

I think we should keep an eye on Kountze's running back Howard he is a sophmore, thier kicker is a sophmore, and two of thier defensive line men are sophmores.
