Six winners are chosen weekly in 1A-2A-3A-4A-5A and private schools. This is the third year Ford has sponsored this program and I could not get SETX coaches involved. Great game. If you did not see this one you missed a good one. Kountze was up most of the game by 1-0 Buna (i don't know who) jacks one out of the park.

Kicker I apprciate it. Call me when you get free. Your schedule is more hectic than mine.

We were at the High School yesterday doing field goals, kickoff and punts. He was consistant from 30 yards making 19/21 field goals from 35 yards he hit 17/21 for grins he backed up to 40 yards and hit 4/12 field goals. He missed three which had distance, but wide right off his left foot. His kickoff averaged 57 yards and punts were averaging 44 yards. Hopefully he will get to kick some next year. If anyone is interested I am still looking for a instructor for him and will compensate someone for their time.

I have spoke with him on the subject. There is not a lot I can say now, but the bowl game will be over soon. We spoke on how he would recruit and where and I did get some of his thoughts on how to make the program work and with what I was told he would be on the right track.

I think that Ken Pope from A&M would be a real good fit here.

Kountze wins. That is not a real surprise to anyone. I will say my peace then back out gracefully. I am from Kountze and I really wish our kids would learn to win with some style. One of my coaches once said to me "the only thing worse than a sore loser is a sore winner. PLEASE PLEASE LETS WIN AND ACT LIKE WE ARE USE TO WINNING.

that is not the way the Kountze community feels. Do NOT let one fan blemish our sportsmanship. We are enjoying our victory, but no one in this community would take a win at the cost of an injured player.
