Columbus's Taylor Janak Info
GeauxTigers replied to KFDM COOP's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
Let me remind yall that this scrappy bunch from Columbus beat BC in 2004 but was almost eliminated by a HF team in the last inning. HF had the lead going into the 7th when a 2 run HR tied it..still a heart break from the Longhorns perspective but they still have a good core from that season returning including Janek. They are coached very well and the cards better bring their A- game or Angelle and the Cards will be sent packing like the 04 season. -

Kyle Cassidy (LCM) Hit a bases clearing Grand Slam against Klein Oak in a decisive game three in the 1st inning to set the tone for the bears the rest of the way. He capitalized on the KO pitcher's stuggles. -
 I beg to differ. If you choose Underwood from HF, you are clearly bias. I believe without him, team still wins 20 games. No offense and suspect arm.
-
Ehlert, wins it over Angelle
-
Coach Griffin, wonderful season for the bears

Kevin Angelle (BC) Clayton Ehlert (LCM) Joel Schooling (Silsbee)

HF Got Snubbed on All SETX team
GeauxTigers replied to GeauxTigers's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
Sry. I realized it was Pre-season ALL SETX I apologize -
Where's Joey Johnson? Eric Neal? Randall Courville? I think the wrong Johnson got 1st team OF and Neal posted good enough numbers for 2nd team consideration pitcher? Im sure alot more players were snubbed...Let me know of any SETX players who you feel were snubbed from the list!!!!

Very dissapointed that the Horns finished the year like that. A tale of two seasons (2004) started off slow and tore it up in the 2nd half and playoffs going to the regionals. (2006) Started off hot, playing the right teams at the right time, and crumbling towards the end. Why is that? Anyway Congrads to the Horns for a good year, but you have to step it up come playoff time!!!

Im trying to figure out who etbu is? is there a correlation with EAST TX Baptist and BH..Jordan Byrd??? Anyway this series will be a good one!!! Only if HF pitching comes to play, I see them winning a close series in 3...but you can't let BH's bats wake up. -
HJ 6 HF 3 2-1 HF led into the 6th when they turned into a circus! Overthrows, errors, walks killed the Horns as they are likely to see the boys from the Hill (Barbers Hill) in the 1st round. The Horn's stock has dropped tremendously with Neal picking up his 1st Loss. The Hawks are on the rise with Roebuck dominating and picking up the #2 seed in district. Probable Matchups BC --Bye-- HJ vs. Liberty Hf vs. BH

Hamshire-Fannett's Joey Johnson

I'm not sure Neal wants to play ball at the next level. Congrats Joey -
Dont sleep on HF, there have been starting pitching in the past that has shut down BC, but the offense lack support. It's a real huge task for the horns with Angelle on the mound. 7-0 BC

get well soon adminbaberuth...wish you all the best from horn country

Hamshire-Fannett at Orangefield predictions

Its a very important game for both squads!!! HF will host WOS, @ BC, and host HJ their next 3 games...OUCH brutal schedule Horns! You could possibly see all 3 aces going against you. Saying that I see the Horns winning friday night 7-5. Any idea of OF starting pitcher friday night? My guess Cuniff will throw friday for HF. -
Looks like a mismatch. Roebuck used up and Angelle fresh. 12-0

I see BC winning the district, they just have baseball savvy! WO-S could possibly fill in the 2nd place slot, but HF, HJ, and OF could have a say in that? I Like BC (1st) WO-S (2nd) and HF (3rd) possibly a tie for third with HJ which would result in a playoff game. We all love those types of games. -
It is pure talent until games are close (2-1, 1-0, 3-1) type games. Coaches are able to strategize and use their expertise very easier in those games. Did anyone see the USA 2 Mexico 0 game? Buck Martinez was able to use his talents along with his unstoppable staff.
