This….. Wonder how many other Bh employees would have been given a free pass if they had committed these acts or been arrested in a pretty publicized event

I definitely agree that those guys are in a spot that a lot of coaches would love to be in at some point in their careers…I don’t really see their recusal as a jab at BH as much as reluctance to work in what sounds like, from the outside, as a pretty toxic atmosphere (was it physical atmosphere or physical speed) from fhe Administration building…. Again, I’m on the outside and not overly familiar with the everyday workings of BH…

If I’m not mistaken, I think Craig Stump’s brother Chris was an assistant coach at BH several years ago. Not sure how that plays into any decision that may or may not be made though

Didn’t see it stated here, or I might have missed it….was it his choice to leave or was he forced out?

I would agree Lufkin seems like a better job… looks like a more stable situation… not sure I’m correct, but it’s almost like there is a change in the HC/AD at BH like every 4-5 years…. Not sure why

Absolutely spot on about the athletes…..I just remember how surprised the HS football world was when Tom Westerburg left Allen…… but I’m probably wrong

If he is, I’m sure he is like most coaches, he would like to meet with the kids and try to be first one to tell them…. Not sure that’s possible in today’s world though

Already looking forward to it… many thanks to all involved… a lot of time and effort I’m sure goes into running the Pickems between setting the weekly schedule, posting the game results each week, and calculating the standings…For my first season and with all the knowledgeable folks on here, I’m kinda proud of my third place finish

Not at all… I actually had Wasson winning in my pickems…. I just pretty much trust what I read on here…. A few of those websites even had a different score… just looking for confirmation

And the only reason I’m still up is because I’m doing an overnight brisket for tomorrow.
