  1. Albeit the competition was much different in the 90s, I think 21-1 may be the best start ever. Even during the Sneed years. Also keep in mind they are in a lower classification. WB was the largest high school in setx and also district 22-5A during the majority of the 90s with 3000-4000 students and two separate campuses. Ozen was established in 1997 partially to help with the overcrowding and to please the local Hebert alumni
  2. This score would’ve never happened in the 90s lol
  3. I forgot basketball is Division 1 and 2 now. So BH may have a chance
  4. Is this streamed anywhere? I'd love to check out the Bruins
  5. Race Deshotel. I think Colbert says Raphael in this interview [Hidden Content]
  6. Can you share more of the BU QB’s back story? My dad was at the game and mentioned him being a transfer from Minnesota. Wonder what brought his family to the golden triangle.
  7. I never said that. But if your Aggie education suggests I did say that, I understand why 🌲
  8. Region 2 must have been the weakling region this year. Lake Ridge doesn’t look like a regional champion to me but what do I know lol
  9. That was understood from jump street. We uplift our own and do not bring them down. Enough of that goes on in the world. Again I wasn’t comparing. Just making a comment about Kobe. And from what I understand it’s more of a laceration and not an avulsion fracture. Two completely different kinds of injury. Kayde I’m sure wants to play very badly regardless the extent of that injury. God bless him 🤲🏽
  10. As an African American man who grew up in Beaumont Texas, I am the last person who would try to bring down one of our kids. (We DO NOT do that) That makes absolutely no sense and I’m not sure how or why someone who is not from where I from is insulted. No idiot in their right mind would compare a professional hall of famer to a 17 year old kid. I guess I need to give a lecture on context clues/ reading skills. If your understanding is bad that’s one thing. We in the Pear Orchard are bout uplifting our community and wanting our kids to be successful. I’ve been going to the state tournament since 1986 and I want BU to win it again. It’s unfortunate Dotson got hurt. My prayers are up for him and his family. I also pray that the level of comprehension some people have is improved. As of right now… nevermind. Let’s go BU! The only thing good from Round Rock is Round Rock Donuts!
  11. I don’t know why people aren’t from where I’m from took offense. Because trust me those who are DIDNT. When telling on yourself goes bad….
  12. I in no way compared a 17 year old kid to a grown man who was a paid professional. Go back and read carefully.
  13. I know the Dotson family very well. I’m not from Nederland or Lumberton… and also not a keyboard gangster. I never insinuated anything. You guys who are doing all this talking are telling on yourselves. Again, with this level of comprehension I’m sure your SAT scores were mediocre at best lmao. That’s if you even took it
  14. Tell on yourself. It’s clear and obvious lol
  15. Reading is fundamental. I bet there are some very low SAT scores in this thread. I can post whatever I like. This isn’t North Korea my guy
  16. Stil not sure what the extent of Dotsons injury is. And again - this Kobe fun fact has nothing to do with a high school kid. Just pointing out how he willed through an avulsion fracture in his index finger (shooting hand) essentially for an entire season and won a nba championship: Fun fact: Kobe Bryant won the 2010 Championship while playing with a broken index finger on his shooting hand We hear a lot about Michael Jordan's Flu Game and how tough and legendary his performances are. But as always with Kobe, there are a lot of things that tend to get forgotten and overlooked. One such tidbit is the fact that he played in all playoff games during the 2010 championship run and won a ring while playing with a broken index finger in his shooting hand. Essentially, he re-crafted his entire shooting motion to adjust to the injury and played through it.
  17. No im strictly talking about Kobe’s innate ability to play through injury. Including but not limited to broken bones and/torn ligaments or tendons. Almost Wolverine like pain tolerance and recovery
  18. I know this is irrelevant. But if Kobe had this same injury and it was a game 7… he would play and likely drop 40.
  19. I’m not hearing good things about that finger. Hopefully through modern medicine he can give it a go
  20. Plano East 1 seed. RR Stony Point 2 seed. They will flip to see who plays BU and Lake Ridge
