Is Cody Hussey still catching for Lumberton? I have not seen him play in a few years. But he is a great defensive catcher and has a strong arm.

What? Kountze has been great against the run. Kountze has lost 3 games. From what I have seen and heard, the problem has not been the run defense but the pass defense. The Kountze- Buna game came down to the last minute of the game.

This doesn't sound like disrespect for Tramain, but actually respect for the kid. Everyone knows Tramain is hurt, but not to what extent. Tramain is not EC's team, but he is a playmaker. And everyone that has seen him play knows what he can do. If they don't there in denial.

BBfan, you must be a player from Buna. And if you are, or a just a fan and you keep up with the games that are played, then you would know (and correct me if I'm wrong) that Kountze was 2nd in district and from what I heard both games against Kountze was a one run game. If you have stats, please post them. However, from what I have seen and heard, Buna does have a good program & some quality players.

If you would have read what this topic is about, than you would know that it is just predictions.

I have heard that there are bad attitudes and a lack of respect from some of the football players currently playing on the team. And if this kid has had a bad attitude, that doesn't mean that it cannot be corrected. I haven't seen him play basketball or football, but from what I understand he is a good athlete.

Deweyville is going to be looking for their 1st district win. But Kountze, if EC gets beat and they pull this one out, has a playoff spot. Kountze by 7.

Hardin, Kountze, & Lumberton. By the way, its amazing what Haynes has done in his first year at Hardin.

PNG is good, but I have to go with Dayton by 14.

EC has #1 and #15, Hardin has a #2 and #3, this is going to be a good one. I look for #1 and #3 to be playing on Saturdays next year. If Tramain is healthy, EC in a close one.

Wasn't Buna's star pitcher a senior last year. Will Buna have more than one pitcher that can really throw the ball? How many starters will return for each team in this district?

This was an awesome game. Way to go Lions! Things have turned out alot different since the predictions at the beginning of the year. Now maybe the ones talking all the smack, will realize that the Lions are for real.

This game will be like Lumberton and PNG. Which was a great game. This one should be the game of the week even though this is 2a. It is hard to say in this one. Buna has a kid that is very illusive, I believe his name is Craft #7. However EC has Thomas who is a double threat. Going with EC in a tough one.
