Wow 6 turnovers! We did not turn the ball over at all last week. If OZ can cause this to happen they would deserve to win, but not in this universe! Vidor will hold onto the ball and play well both ways! I will predict a 20 point victory!

Looked powerful to me in the third and fourth. All you guys had to do was stop that 1 yard 4th down and you would have had another chance. What happened there? what happened? i believe we ran smooth over em lol True that! What I liked about this one is the Pirates did what they had to to win. When it counted they got it done! This is what we have been needing to figure out. We could play with anyone, but knowing how to win has not been our best tool. If we have turned this corner it will be a great year!!!! Let me point out the Vidor D stepped up against Lumberton. I think wee are all getting better as the weeks pass. hey Im not trying to get hostile its really all out of fun and games. I really hope yall have just of chance as we do at making a deep run in the playoffs. What it all comes down to is the team that makes it the farthest this year will have all of our support.Thats what makes our area so special. We support each other. Good luck on a great year!!!!!!!! You funny guy!!!!! ;D But as some one said this is a PNG Livingston thread. I am still not predicting a PNG loss, just curious about the outcome as I am about all of the other close games in the district!

Sorry, but I will be at another game. Guys I am not meaning disrespect, just not ready to crown PNG yet this year. You guys are good and I am OK with that. I just want to see you play a few more games and then I am sure I will jump on the band wagon! NOT ;D

OK are you telling me this is the best PNG team you have seen in the last 10 years? I agree you are much improved from last year, but how good do you think you really are. Are you predicting a district championship? Oh by the way the rankings change like the wind! ;D I'm not gonna say this is the best PNG team in the last 10 years, but I will say the PNG defense is very good. The defensive secondary is probably the best I've seen in 10 years. Remember that the Indians are learning a new system from new coaches. They ARE getting better every week. They have not yet hit on all cylinders, but I DO like what I see. We only have 2 district games under out belt, with a lot of tough games ahead. I don't think the Indians will go through district without a loss, but I wouldn't bet against them. I will predict the Indians in the playoffs. As far as a district championship, that would be a stretch. 20-4A is WAY too tough to make a bold prediction like that. Good comments! I agree it is a tough year!

PNG has played 5 games, and are perfect thus far. With that said, we have not put together a complete 4 quarters yet. If we do, the district will have problems with us....if we dont, we will have problems with the district. Just depends. From what I have seen, our team is good and can be great, but we are very undisciplined......which hurts a lot. Actually I agree with every comment in this post. You guys have all of the tools and lots of possibilities. I just think you are in the mix with Vidor, Central, and Lumberton and maybe even Livingston. There will be many games ahead that can go either way. Thats all I'm sayin!

For me this one is hard to call. It is hard to vote against Nederland in a close one although my heart is with Orange County. I think I will go with my heart! LCM by 3.

I wish I could have seen Livingston Play. I have seen PNG on the Tube and I was not really impressed. I don't mean any disrespect although I am sure you will take it as such. I mean you guys are good, don't get me wrong. But you have not played Central, Vidor, or Lmberton. This should be a good test this week. If you blow Livingston out I will say I may be wrong. I know a guy from Lumberton who says Livingston is good so I have to think this will be a good game. Let me make a point here. You guys talk about Texas City and compare them to every other running team like Vidor and Livingston, but look at the Lumberton Livingston game compaired to the Lumberton Vidor game. People compare us to Livingston all the time, but thesen were too totally different games. There are differences in every team and one team will match up against another team differently due to these differences. My point is, assume you will beat Livingstan based on past outcomes with other teams and you may be wondering what went wrong on Saturday morning. Beat Livingston on the field handily and I think you go a long way toward getting respect, but play them like you did Nederland and you may be complaining that the bad facilities caused you to lose! Sorry just my humble opinion. OK NDN's pile on, I can handle it! ;D

the game is over and vidor won that's that. both teams played sloppy last night and we have to admit that. regardless we will can't ask ourselves WHAT IF the game had went this way would the Raider have wont? Truth is we will never know! The game wasn't a total give away and you know it! Both teams did great. And as for who has the better parking. who cares! I mean really! It's stupid to argue over parking. Good post guy! It is tough to loose. We know this well. Last week still stings, but the reality is there is always next week. If you don't get over this week next week could be another disapointment! Central is fast and tough! ;D Your right PFL, its tought to lose and the raiders have to forget about losing this one, fix the mistakes (the fumble, the missed fgs, the bad snaps to the quarterback and to the holder, and most definitely all the penalties which stopped the drives) and be prepared for Central next week. And I hope you guys can do just that! I have nothing against any shcool in the area. You guys will do well in the weeks to come. I honestly can't say who will win next week because L-Train and Central are both good teams. It is football, I know everyone says "it's High School football" but after watching the Cowboys and Romo the last few years you never know what will happen in football at any level! Let's quit going back and fourth on this. We won bottom line. Next year you guys may blow us out or we may win again, but this game is over. There has to be a winner and a loser in every game. Next week hopefully we will both be on the winning side since we are not playing each other again. It will be interesting to see who comes out ahead. Sounds like that game should be game of the week!

People please drop it with the speed kills quote. Im sure we have a few guys that are just as fast or faster than centrals top guy. We have played the speedy teams before and there are ways to overcome this. I see central and vidor being almost identical teams, and lumberton's D can hold them the same way we did vidor. Will be a really good game coming down to the final seconds I assure you. BO if you do we did not see them. The Central guys are lightning fast! Speed is not the only thing. We were able to equilize it, but you will have to play at the top of your game if you beat them!

Luckily there are other Lumberton fans on here with class... I feel sorry for the rest of them having to deal with someone like you... Good job Lumberton, shut down our running game in the first half... VERY physical game... 2nd half was fun to watch... Good luck the rest of the way dont act like all vidor fans show great deals of class, every school has them so dont try to make lumberton look like the bad guy I just want to make a point here. After the Central game we could have had a thousand excuses, but we took it as the loss it was and both sides showed class. This is rediculious! You guys need to learn to keep your heads up and have some class. I know there are alot of good people in Lumberton. I spoke to some after the game. We played Defense tonight, but I was worried about the Offense tonight! Hopefully next week we will be revved up both ways! Good game Lumberton, you had me worried more than once. I thought after we scored 14 we would hold and start to pull away, but they kept it close. L-Train has a good QB. He is hard to catch in the back field! ;D
