Yes we can. Correct me if I am wrong but all Vidor does is run the ball. Stop the run and shut down their offense completely. There is no "Plan B" for Vidor. Lumberton got some good film and expirence from Livingston with the mis-direction running they do (just like Vidor). We are young on defense but they have learned alot in four games this year. Looking at the Vidor opponets scoring, the defense is suspect. Lumberton will stop the run and the L-Train will keep on chugging away. OK you are wrong! We can throw the ball and the few times we have attempted we have been very succesful. We just have not had to very much!

Hey Naz I guess I talked enough trash before the Central game I am all trashed out! I love my team and I have high hopes for them, but I am uneasy about Friday night. We need a win badly. It would not be the end of the world if we loose, but I think you can see it from there. We are running like crazy and it is working like clock work, but I just don't know if we can stop your offense. I don't want to see a replay of last Friday night. In a score fest like that it just comes down to who has the ball last. We seem to be healthy and we have a 6'6" 320 lineman that has been hurt but has been released to play in this game. He will be a great addition to the line, hopefully on defense! Well I am not going to predict, or guarentee, or even crow. I am just going to say hopefully a Pirate Ship can do a replay of last year and DERAIL the L-TRAIN! Good luck to you guys and hopefully no one gets hurt! See ya Friday! ;D Good post PFL. We are pretty close but I see you put LCM above Livingston. Have you seen Livingston play or is this just a gut feeling. I heard from a guy from Lumberton that Livingston was very good, but I have not seen them yet!

I think PNG will win, but I would like to see Nederland get this one and spread out the losses!

i really believe PN-G will #2 at the least and possibly #1, they will surprise alot of people this year imho Sounds like you are going with the Home team. I understand, but I have talked to friends that are big PNG fans that are telling me they see many things that need to be shored up. They still have time and i could be totally wrong! ;D

After 1 week I am going to attempt a ranking. 1. Central (just because they got the W) 2. Lumberton (Because they got a W against Liv. I hope to move Vidor up after Friday night) 3. Vidor (Just because of the showing at the Babe) 4. Livingston/PNG (I am not sure here so I am putting them even) 5. Ozen (beat Nederland) 6. LCM 7. Nederland I know some will say this is totally wrong, but I can handle it. Again this is just a guy from Vidor giving his opinion. Now here is your chance to give yours. How do you rank them? ;D

I agree with alot of these comments. MCM is still a great match up and will generate some excitement. But I also agree that the Lumberton Vidor game is more important. I will just be glad when Vidor gets an easier game, but I am not sure when that will be! ;D

No predictions or trash talk here. Lumberton is a good team. I believe we are better, but we have to find a way to win. Keeping it close is not enough we need to get a lead and build on it early! We also need to play solid Defense. I believe we only stopped Central on 1 drive. They never caused us to punt, but we did have the key turnovers. Keys to winning: Run down the middle over and over (we got this covered) Protect the football (still working on this) Keep the stupid penalties down to a min. (did good in the central game) Find a way to win! Find a way to win! Start a winning tradition! We need to expect to win every time. Losing should never be an option! (Lumberton has the advantage here, but we are in control of our own destiny)

I agree with this, but I am thinking the other good team is Lumberton. I am not sure about PNG yet. We will see as the weeks pass. Now we have to get ready for another good challenge. I sure wish Lumberton would take us lightly but after last night no one will!
