Hard to call. I have no hard feelings against Nederland and I have no great love for Lumberton so this is not from the heart and is totally unbiased. I think it will be hard to call. Any kid who does not get up for this game should not be playing. There is so much on the line. For many seniors this will be there last game! Emotions will be high. I think Nederland will pull this out, but I would not be surprised if Lumberton gets up for it and pulls it out. Prediction turnovers are key. The team that holds on to the ball will come out with the win. Nederland by 3 points. Sorry Big Blue! JMO

Sounds like a great game of ground pounding! I wish I could have seen Livingston play before next week. If what I am reading is correct. We have to win due to head to head with Nederland. If we lose we would lose the 4th spot to Livingston right? So it comes down to this! How bad do you want it Pirates? Guys you played a great game against Nederland, but put it in the past where it belongs and focus on stopping the run. You have done a good job of stopping the run all year, and since I hear Livingston is not a passing team we should be ready on Friday! Come on Pirates, this is our SUPER BOWL!!!!!!!!!!

It's all about turnovers tonight! I just don't think the Nederland QB and recievers will have their timing down in the slop. I also believe the bomb will be hard to find a handle on. Again, hold on to the ball and we should win!

[/quote]Dude, noone is taking anyone lightly. We always get up for Nederland. It just so happend that Vidor is better than they usually are and Nederland is not. They may be a good team, I am not denying that, but we just happen to believe we are a better team this year. Next year could be a different story, (or it may not) but we are not there yet.

Vidor’s offense is the leading offense in District 20-4A with an average of 396.3 yards a game while Nederland’s defense ranks next to last giving up 330.5 yards a contest.
