1. There is one thing for sure, numbers do not lie, they can be misinterpreted but they don't lie. So in the conversation of Neumann retiring I can give you about 1000 lbs of reasons why he is not going anywhere!
2. Read? What are you trying to do destroy the ability to spread FUD with facts?
3. Your analysis is correct except for the inference that the tax rate can continue to grow in a negative growth situation. In Texas there is a cap on the amount a School District can raise the rate. The tax rate can't grow unabated here. I believe the max is 8.25 percent.
4. I think someone overheard the statement wrong. What they missed was the part where Neumann said he wished that smitty would retire.
5. Not sure, hopefully we will find out soon!
6. How you doing bandkid? I've been out of town for a while and the Internet was up and down most of the time, and more down than up! Glad to be back home straddling the border once again!
7. Wondered the same thing myself!
8. Well thinking is kind of hard this time of the year, the frost is starting to thaw just a little bit.
9. I think our D will be better in the trenches, but I don't know about the DB's. I don't think I would put a lot in the 3 TD's per game.
10. What I hear is that we are going to unleash a bold new offense, you will see a strange creature in the backfield a fullback with the QB under center! But that's just rumor now!
11. Rumor has it while the Basketball team is running up and down the court on everyone the white board has been real active at the Pound and spring time will bring more changes than just blooming flowers!
12. It will be an away game either way, at Lamar or in WOS.
13. The young Dog's improved all season, I look for them to start strong in the fall. With the addition of more young blood they have the potential to be very good.
14. I remember several years ago we played Dayton before they changed their stadium, we had a large crowd and before the game started I noticed a lot of black and gold on the other side. The first half was pretty close but in the second half we started pulling away. The black and gold started making noise and you could see the Dayton fans looking over to there side that was full of Dog fans. They had been invaded, it was pretty funny.
15. Iggy Joe's with Cougar on the side! Wounded QB and all Dogs Win!
16. I would start Raines if for no other reason than to keep the defense guessing. What the mix was QB to wild dog would be up to Barrow. If they decided to go with Sonnier at QB it still wouldn't bother me, because he has shown that factor that all coaches wish all their players had, the desire to win.
17. The only problem with the visitors side is the old folks that get there late and can't find a place to sit. For the rest of the Dog fans we will pack the stands and so much for home field advantage, unless bubba is an official and has to leave the link sale!
18. You have trash talkers in every city, there's not one that doesn't.  The problem is that most trash talkers can't take it when they get it handed to them. But one fact remains this game is over and we may be playing without our QB or defensive lineman, but play we will win or lose.
19.
shoulda had it at stallworth IMO
Not our choice, we lost the flip!
20.
decisions like that are the reason ned. is 5-5 & barely made the playoffs.im sure crosby would love to see a sophmore qb playing to get experience for the future instead of a senior whos play  got his team into the playoffs.& whats up with not playing #45 on defense?its always good to have your best l.b. & leaders on the team standing on the sideline?
I'm making an assumption that you are not a Dog fan! If you were you would know that the Dogs have started many QBs that were not seniors! One more trend you will find is that most of our QBs (Forney's the exception) have been pitchers. They have good arms and they know how to chunk the rock. If Neumann and Barrow choose to start Raines or not is their decision, but one thing is for sure, we will line up and play Friday Night.
21. If Dionte is not able to go at QB I am sure they will start Raines, I don't think they would want to stay in the WildDog all night. The great thing about the WildDog is the change of pace you wouldn't get that if you stayed in it. The other thing is Raines will most likely start next year. The more experience the better.
22. (3) Playoff Games. Unless mutually agreeable otherwise, the place for playing a playoff game shall be determined on a “home and home” basis for the past two football seasons. (Exception: state championship games.) The team that was the visiting team the last time the two teams met on a home field in a post-district playoff game may require the game be played at its home field. In case of disagreement between two teams who have not played a post-district playoff game during the past two football seasons, the game site shall be decided by a coin toss. A school cannot be required to flip for a playoff site that is not large enough to accommodate the fans from both schools. (4) Home Sites. When two schools flip for two separate sites other than their home field, the sites are considered home sites unless both sites are near mid-point. (5) Neutral Sites. A site mid-point or near mid-point or a site agreed on by both schools as neutral, is a neutral site. Unless mutually agreeable, a site cannot be neutral if it is more than two-thirds the total distance between the two schools. (6) Playoff Contract. Post-season contracts should show either, home site, neutral site or mutually agreed-on site. (7) Day of Game. The home team may designate the day of the game. Exception: If the visiting school has to miss class time to travel to the game, the game shall be played on a non-school day unless mutually agreed otherwise.
23. Someone said that our QB was to slow and was going to get tore up in this game. I don't know how many yards he ended up with but it was enough to move the chains several times tonight. I think the only people that got tore up were the guys that tried to stop him on several of his runs.
24. We know how it is to lose your QB the last several years have not been kind to us but we also know that no matter what you have to go out and play your best. I hope he is able to go it would be sad to not be able to play the last game in district.
25. The Big Dogs on 'D' have a break out game, it may not look pretty but they get the job done. We have a lot of young Dogs on the field, but they are learning how to win on varsity when in most years they would still be on JV.
