Hire the Somalis in Minnesota. They seem to be able to find ways to get loads of money

You've proved nothing except that you're hard headed. And we aren't the only team to get the shaft because of teams like them. and they aren't the only ones doing it. All of the teams who have that special talent that comes along once in a blue moon will have to settle for 2nd or 3rd because people like you just turn the other cheek. Oh well, they just didn't check the box. Cool. Enjoy watching the same Dallas teams win every year. That's what it's all about right? As long as the Dallas teams win every year it's all good. What a sad, weak argument you guys have. Football socialism is what we should call it.

It's odd that you think complaints only come from the "losing team" - Do you live in a bubble world where you only exist on this site? Get out more. I've spoken numerous times about plenty of people all over the Dallas region who are sick of it and not all of them are on the "losing team" which I'm still not sure how that makes it any different. They also are not at all different than Faith and Family. It's the same thing to its core.

Bingo

I think that would be fine. I mean, why not?

I don't want kids punished. Not at all. I want to see an even playing field. Create the new classification and be done with it. SOC and others have shown that with the talent they bring in, they can compete with 6A schools.

Reggie McNeals kid from Houston- Dallas Skyline fella. Your turn Falcon. You think they all moved for Academics at Oak Cliff?

You create an open enrollment classification. As stated before.

I've raised this issue multiple times because I believe there are documented and firsthand examples that warrant discussion. Dismissing those examples without examining them doesn't address the underlying concern. One example I personally witnessed was two SOC coaches discussing their quarterback after a state championship loss. One coach remarked, "We ain't winning one with this cat. I hope we get [player] to move in." While a single conversation does not prove systemic wrongdoing, it illustrates the mindset that many believe contributes to the issue. There is information available for those willing to research it. I don't claim to have every piece of evidence compiled, but it's inaccurate to suggest there is no basis for these concerns. At the same time, it's equally unsupported to categorically state that these situations never occur. Both positions require evidence. From my own experiences around these programs, I've spoken with coaches who have expressed frustration over the competitive imbalance they believe exists. The concern extends beyond one school and has been raised in discussions involving programs such as Denton Ryan, Argyle, DeSoto, and South Oak Cliff, among others. Their view is that some schools benefit from player movement in ways that place neighboring programs at a competitive disadvantage. None of my comments are based on rumors or what I wish were true. They are based on firsthand observations, conversations with coaches, and concerns that have been expressed within the Texas high school football community. Those concerns were also reflected in the anonymous coach responses published in the Dave Campbell's Texas Football coaches survey, where coaches openly discussed transfer-related issues and competitive balance.

Keep defending it, Unbelievable. People are paying attention now. People are watching rosters and grade classification. It's only a matter of time before their scam is up.

That is the understanding of how it's supposed to work in an honest process. You're assuming everyone is honest, which in itself is naive. They are NOT honest. They are constantly using loopholes and skirting the rules. This isn't assumption, it's 100% happening. It's worse in Dallas than any other Region. I have known many coaches and players in that entire Region - they know it's happening and they know nothing will be done. You can continue to assume everyone is honest. I can tell you that I've seen it happen to schools that didn't deserve it, while other schools benefitted from it. One example is a smaller 5A-D2 school at the time had the horses to make a run but the QB decided to go to a larger school with more notoriety. That left the smaller school with a QB that didn't quite have the ability to take them where they probably would have gone. That transfer was not an honest one and neither are the majority.

Yikes. There is no possible way you believe what you just typed. Head in the sand. Keep on keepin on, my guy.

If you want to play by the rules that teams like SOC and others do, I have no problem with it. You want your kid to compete with top talent, great. But that definitely needs to be addressed with a rule that the school must play in a larger classification congruent with schools that have near Unlimited talent with large enrollments. If you can get recruits in every single year, you are now no different than the largest classification in the State. That's how a 5A-D2 school has 20+ D1 recruits every single year..... suddenly. in Dallas ISD no less. And they are not the only one. Argyle does it. There are plenty more. It's not Rocket Surgery.

It's out of control. Especially in Dallas.
