So was the recruit choosing between different schools and chose A&M because there are in the sec?   Or was the recruit going to an sec school and chose A&M?   I guess it all determines which spin you put on it.   I have a tendency to put a little more credit towards he school and not the conference, but I have been weaned for a long time. Is weaning something learned about in animal husbandry?   Being a part of the sec has helped some, but will surely help more in the future than in the past two years.

I find it hard to believe that you want to give the credit to the sec for Texas A&M recent success.   Manziel and all ot the other high draft picks were recruited by Sherman and had nothing tto do with the sec.    A&M's recruiting has improved because of the JFF hype and the product on the field. But hey give credit to sec.   This is what I am hearing from Aggies, Texas A&M is no good without sec.

We could get the big 5 to agree to this and presto.   We could have a Conference National Champion.   This would be determined by pre-season polls. There is no other use of pre-season polls or any other poll now that we have a playoff.   The winning conference would get 100 extra scholarships to be divided among their members. They must be equally divided.   This would help Conference National Champions to become dynasties, because that is what the fans want. Every recruit wants to go to Conference National Champion's conference anyway, because they are better. This would allow for more of the recruits to attend where they want.   I really think that in a year or two, we could probably declare our CNC early and not even have to play the season.   Got Milk?

Here is the way it works.   There will be 4 teams in a playoff to determine the National Champion. It will never settle a conference national champion?   Got Milk?   A Conference National Champion. What an idea!   And anyone doubted that I was the self-proclaimed CFB guru of the world!

I am so glad for Vince. I understand that he is going to be game day coverage on the LHN. The last time I saw VY on the CFB field, he was beating USC for the BCS title. I sure wish he would have returned for his senior year. Mack would have won back to back BCS titles.    Hookem

PM19   Coach Strong is a busy man, but is willy to take time for you. He did mention something about a light workout. I'm not a gym guy so I have no idea what he is talking about.

I just sent Chucky and email and He wants to meet you. He is willing to jump on a jet and fly to Jack Brooks Regional.   It would be a great opportunity to find out what this man is all about.

SEC gets one conference champ.   Why should they get more because they have higher ranked teams?   You guys having been smoking something funny.   This discussion started because Coach Sumlin has not won a champonship. He still has not won one regardless of what conference his team plays in. 

Somehow thre threads never stay on topic.   What is so hard?   If you want to say something else, punch the button and start a new thread.   I have already started a new thread for Coach Sumlin, but I draw the line when starting a thread about Aggie cheerleaders. It is just not right.

OK I acknowledge the difference. But again the rest of the world calls them cheerleaders, and they are much better looking a other schools. I guess that in the beginning, guys were the only option unless you would consider ewes, heifers, or sows.   After they let the girls in, they should have dropped the male yell leaders.  It would have been so much better for their image esp with helicopters and tweets.   and Ropers got a better picture. Regardless of all those numbers, you still have a conference champion.   Funny thing about coaches   You have two basic types, both very successful   You have those like Coach Saban who out recruits everyone, and wins with OK coaching and player development. Mack Brown was a little like this. You have those like Coach Meyer who recruits well, but wins with coaching and player development. Different styles, both highly successful. Most coaches fall into #2, because they cannot recruit like Coach Saban.. Coach Strong is #2, but his recruiting will improve because He is at Texas. Year three is the most critical year for a new coach, because this is the time your recruits and program come into fruition. 

Is it that hard to win a conference championship?   Lot of coaches do it every year.

You do not need to worry yourself with Coach Strong. He is the Longhorn coach and you will not be hiring or firing.   You had better start paying attention to the things not happening in College Station under Coach Sumlin. Notice the respect which you cannot show.    Wins are going down, losses going up. But he is winning recruiting, but not games. Got milk?   Animal Husbandry? This must something to do with vets.
