  1. To be fair wasn't he on the team the last few times we won state?
  2. No #1 I've just been talking and listening to family and friends. They want Coach Foreman. A lot of them do. It does not work out for some (player) who go to other schools because they are un-happy at WOS though.
  3. Depends on who you are talking to. I don't care who they hire at this point. I just want everyone to get what they want. You can't please everyone.
  4. If coach Foreman is not picked, ticket sales will go down and, for the first time I do believe that LCM will get a lot of WOS players. The town wants coach Foreman and they are paying the taxes over there. If they can't make a decision, they should hire them both as head coaches for defense, and Offense. JMO
  5. I'm not sure about WOS requirements for asst. principals. In Houston area, having HC requirements is not one. They need to have a teaching certificate, masters degree, certification in education management. I think Mr. Hickman has met those qualifications to be asst. principal. Trust me when I say that TEA will not certify him if he has not met ALL requirements.
  6. If it is not coach Foreman, than who will it be? I'm not finding information on KGOT that someone has been hired. Usually, assistant principals are not head coaches to my knowledge (correct me if I'm wrong). So who could it be? What is the big secret anyway?
  7. At this point they SB/S, should just let the community know. No matter what I am a Mustang for Life! No matter whom they choose they will have my support. Now I think people should put some respect on coach's name from Toby to Coach Foreman. Yes!
  8. Yes indeed, C.T. has had enough of this kind of almost bully behavior from parents.
  9. It's just the opposite. Most of the players who play now parents went to school with coach Foreman. I wish they announce the coach already. So much is being said about people and, their decisions about where their kids will attend school next year is really, really silly, and boarder line cra cra.
  10. Surely you know that only WOS counts right! We don't care about any other school.
  11. Baylor is an outstanding organization. I will be keeping up with them this season. Yes he can 99, I believe that.
  12. Wow coach Foreman is on your list. It's not personal is it?
  13. #1 there are different kinds of discipline, on the football field, we can agree to disagree there is a discipline problem on the team JMO.
  14. No that is not what I am saying. As educators people expect us to be babysitters and raise their kids. Parents should do their job and teach their children to respect adults. Sometimes kids tune teachers and coaches out, that can be frustrating as an educator. The rest of your post is your feelings about things and that's fine for you. I am an open minded person who believes that change can be good.
  15. No #1, I work and live in Spring, basketball games are hard to go to as are football games until we reach the playoffs. I will make it a goal to pay more attention to other sports at WOS.
  16. Agree there is more to life than football. Education has always been a top priority in my household growing up, and it continues today. My niece will finish in the top 6 in her class in 2022. I very proud of her. I’m’ only saying top 6 so she won’t get upset with me lol but it could be higher. Parents should be the ones who are more involved with communicating with principals and, administrators when there are problems at a particular school. IMO the decision has already been made as to who will be the HC at WOS next year. No matter who they may be, I will support them, and I will keep supporting the team. Change can be difficult for some people; I always observe first then make my decisions to approve or disapprove.
  17. Once again…my focus is and has always been the culture of WOS football. Discipline, determination, respectfulness, focus. I have shouted those adjectives though out the season in my posts. Yes, these characteristics have been missing for a few years, even though we have been winning a few rounds into the playoffs. I’m not wasting my time explaining the culture change across the nation, that’s political and is not my focus tonight. Example of what I’m talking about… players wearing their shirts rolled up or, T shirts hanging out of their jerseys. Dancing on the sidelines. Fighting on the field 99, these are my concerns, and they are bad football culture characteristics. Who will be hired to turn around these football culture changes at WOS, will be up to the school board and not to fans near or far. B&W ok. I'm done with explaining WOS culture in football period...
  18. There is more to life than football. Using your example, coach A may have a winning record but may not be right for the football team, maybe coach B will do a better job with bringing back the culture that is WOS. Discipline is really important and have gone by the way side lately.
  19. Apples and Oranges 99. Job applicants nor employees should not be subject to having their personal information published just because they applied for a HC football position and, people want to know because they pay taxes smh. I don’t believe that we will know everyone who applied. As far as getting it right and kids suffering, well I trust the process, and the people who are making the decisions.
  20. After listening to Coach Forman talk about his team and the community, I think he loves where he is at. [Hidden Content]
