  1. SMH! Not true on all counts but ok
  2. The sad fact is that most people who are truly racist, do no believe that they are.
  3. I really like how your coach speaks so positive about his players; it is very refreshing. You guys have a strong backfield for certain.
  4. There are some people who have tried to define the word Trumper. Here is a nice one I read that may explain what an INDEPENDENT may describe a Trumper. Trumper Generally, a gullible person who idol worships Donald Trump. Not to be confused with a Republican supporter. A lot of Trumpers, throughout their life have always considered themselves rebels and support anything anti establishment, especially any conspiracy theories. Feeling left behind by main stream politics, Trumpers align themselves with Donald Trump, based on his claim to be unlike all other politicians. They idolise Donald Trump to a point where they can excuse any of his false statements or unethical behaviour, by classing them as acceptible, or if really pressed by others, cast any accusations aside, as "fake news". Some Trumpers are even willing to risk their own health and life, to show their allegiance to Donald Trump by flouting health regulations and advice.
  5. I'm excited about the Rockets up coming season. With the #2 pick I hope they pick Jalen Green, or trade up to get Cunningham. If Mitchell from Baylor is still available at # 23 that would be a steal.
  6. Hey Dj I have known about this for a long time that #19 was returning to the team. Summer workout is hard also I hear lol. Imo if someone does not want to play QB and wants to play another position they should be allowed to do so by tryouts. On the other hand #19 is a really good football player and a kid who makes mistakes in judgement sometimes. I believe in his talents and him as a person. Can we play or tryout more than one player at the QB position and still have a productive season, I think so. I'm glad the utility man is back.
  7. What ever the young man wants to do for his future, I wish him the best. I am sure there will be a QB leading the Mustangs to victories next football season. The last time this happened WOS had a winning year. We all know that one player will not stop the pursuit.
  8. This was tragic, however, the police officer had no choice, he did the right thing. Why wasn't the man who kicked the young girl in the head arrested, he should be for that his action.
  9. So sorry to hear that you were so ill, and happy that you pulled through. I’m not sure how or why it is that some people get sick with the virus and they don’t make it, and some do get better. This is still puzzling after a year of this virus in the US. All I know is I don’t trust a lot of people anyway so, staying my distance except for my family was ideal for me. (Plus wearing my mask). I spray my desk and computer with alcohol and keep my classroom clean and disinfected. My kiddos have been taught to wear their mask at school and we all wash our hands and stay socially distance as much as possible. So far, I only had one kid who got ill. Everyday people in my building socialize hang out together and the next thing you know some one has the virus. I was a little skeptical about the shots being offered, but I have decided to take it. Since you already had COVID you may have strong antibodies and my not need to wear a mask. Good Luck.
  10. Well, I guess the Florida Man who once lived in the White House showed us just how the virus can kick you in the backside (admitted he had the virus too). I mean he damn near rolled off the balcony, as he gasped for air smh after leaving the hospital. The virus is not a media stunt. Several people at my school parents have died from COVID-19. One kid in my class got it, I wear my mask all day everyday at work and so far, I am blessed. It’s just foolish to keep saying the same dumb thing about mask. If things don’t change, such as Donkey VS Elephant, red VS blue and all that nonsense symbolic garbage we will never heal as a country. I am so sick of the hate no matter who sprees it.
  11. [Hidden Content] Turbines are not solely the reason.
  12. Welp he is gone. I really did not want his tenure to end so bad with the Rockets, having said that; The Rockets got a good player in Oladipo. He is from Nigeria and is close with Olajuwon. The picks the Rockets got that were unprotected, that could help them get some players in a trade, or help re-build the team. I believe the Rockets will make some other trades before the deadline.
  13. It’s not my job to explain why people riot from anywhere. The guy who killed the police man in Minneapolis is in jail too. All riots, mobs, and violence is wrong, especially on US soil, I don’t like that.
  14. I never want to see a woman being shot period. It appears that she was entering a room where there were congressmen and women there. The police were there to protect them. As for the rest of those moronic blockheads who were hanging from the Capital like a sloth, they need to be punished to the fullest of the law.
  15. He should be jailed along with the Barbarian predatory savages that killed the Capital police officer.
  16. Even though the Rockets have no wins yet, they look very good. I like Jae'Sean Tate, and David Nwaba, Christian Wood.
  17. Houston, We have a Problem! Millionaire’s who are spoiled and pig headed! The game is postponed for tonight’s opener SMH.
  18. Indeed, trade him! He does not want to be in H-Town ship him out! He needs a professional manager and not his mama. I sure would not let him dictate where he wants to go especially not Philly! I would trade him to Orlando for Aaron Gordan 25 years old, and Evan Fournier 27 both small forwards. I would hate to lose Eric Gordan, but he may have to be part of the deal. Bring back Gerald Green.
  19. Houston please trade James Harden. I use to like him but now demanding a trade while he is is still on contract smh. He forgot Houston plucked him off the bench in OKC, helped him to become a star, and now he acting an arse. Bye James we will bounce back with or without you so with your ungrateful self.
  20. Maybe my post got a little out of content as to what I meant. It is not that I feel that an African American coach would be better than anyone else; it is more culturally related for me. I can see how people may feel that I want a Black Head coach just because of color. I have the up most respect for Coach T. and I hope that he will never leave, but we know that is not happening. Every time a coaching change is due to be made, “The Talk” is to hire Toby Foreman, never considering anyone else especially a black man. A few years ago there was a discussion about landmarks around the school (WOS) being named after people who are pillars in Orange society. There were posters on Setex who were mad because our belated Coach Breelove was given the scoreboard to be named after him. He was an awesome motivator, good coach, and good man. That made me feels some type of way about that. Especially, coming from people who are not from Orange, and who do not live in the African American community there. I do not appreciate being called a racist because I am culturally motivated and will always be. The topic of race is a sensitive subject that needs to be discussed by open minded people. To my WOS friends just know that my opinion was not to stir the pot, but I guess I did; however it was to open the discussion about race, culture, and equal consideration, not to have opportunist poke their nose into discussion about race when their motivation is always to attack black people.
  21. Go to he double l. I don't have to explain NOTHING TO YOU!!!
