  1. Maybe my post got a little out of content as to what I meant. It is not that I feel that an African American coach would be better than anyone else; it is more culturally related for me. I can see how people may feel that I want a Black Head coach just because of color. I have the up most respect for Coach T. and I hope that he will never leave, but we know that is not happening. Every time a coaching change is due to be made, “The Talk” is to hire Toby Foreman, never considering anyone else especially a black man. A few years ago there was a discussion about landmarks around the school (WOS) being named after people who are pillars in Orange society. There were posters on Setex who were mad because our belated Coach Breelove was given the scoreboard to be named after him. He was an awesome motivator, good coach, and good man. That made me feels some type of way about that. Especially, coming from people who are not from Orange, and who do not live in the African American community there. I do not appreciate being called a racist because I am culturally motivated and will always be. The topic of race is a sensitive subject that needs to be discussed by open minded people. To my WOS friends just know that my opinion was not to stir the pot, but I guess I did; however it was to open the discussion about race, culture, and equal consideration, not to have opportunist poke their nose into discussion about race when their motivation is always to attack black people.
  2. Go to he double l. I don't have to explain NOTHING TO YOU!!!
  3. You are not even WOS. You have said over and over that you wouldn’t move there so be it. You the dumb one and I have read you post in political forum talking about black people, and the way you dismiss the kids at WOS, academic wise and racially. Child pleases... Have 2 seats I’m trying to civil. Don’t post to me again!
  4. Well this topic is not just my curiosity it has been discussed before. [Hidden Content] [Hidden Content] [Hidden Content]
  5. Some people are really showing their true colors. I'm not backing down on my opinion.
  6. SHHHH!
  7. Yes.. and men of color have been qualified and still not given the opportunity for most head coaching positions. Not only in high school sports but in the professional area as well.
  8. Well it was a thought that I was curious about.. Why hasn't there ever been a black head coach hired at WOS? Why is that a problem to some? Why is it that it has to be automatic go to someone form WOS or next man up? Orange is not ready for change.. that's the way it is there. I am WOS no matter if we are 12-0 or 1-12. Now running him off..not if he is strong and ignore the hip hooray, I think he would be just fine.

  10. Re-read my earlier post,I said after coach T retires. WOS will not be irrelevant anytime soon.
  11. That is interesting. I would recruit from outside Texas, i.e. Oklahoma or Arkansas there is strong football history up there. Sometimes change is good. People from Orange are complacent when it comes to some things. Familiarity feels right for them. We need to shake things up a bit.
  12. IMO I would like to see a Black head coach, when coach T retires of course, we have never had one. IT is time!
  13. Maybe Toby Foreman likes where he is. Why not bring someone in who will add some new dimension to the the offensive side of the team.
  14. So awesome how young people are digging real music from back in the day. This young lady related the song to what's going on today. I like her reaction to "The Bee Gees" [Hidden Content]
  15. Yes I know his madness. He's a messy bird.
  16. Excuse me for asking but did BC make a round or two this year? I think we will be ok the cut off is in the 500's
  17. Chris Jasper is one of the baddest guitar players still living today [Hidden Content]
  18. I think #19 has earned the starting role at QB. My concern is that when we have a running QB IMO the team struggles and becomes watchers instead of playing team ball. I may have missed some people who may be starters but here is my list of players who may be coming back. The (?) are people who I'm not sure what position they will play next year. # 3, 4 starters RB Jr’s #10 got playing time this year So. #13 a starter safety a Jr #15 starter So. OLB and WR #19 QB RB all around utility man Jr. starter #24 RB played a lot not sure if he was a starter #25 RB and SS so. Starter #43 Jr. not sure if he started #44 DE starter Jr. #51 DT JR. starter #56 T Jr. ? #59 starter C DT 63 S0. ? 65 G JR. ? 72 So. ? 77 Jr G

  20. I want to go to this game but the weather (rain) is bad off and on.
  21. I have a nephew on this team go WB!
  22. Thank You more than you know.
  23. This is true I've seen them play in championship games before so professional. Why their coach is not a college coach is a question? He is good enough to be.
  24. I think China Spring is a good team but will fall short against Carthage, or Gilmar because of the depth that they have.
  25. Confused as to where to put the ball at times after a play (was not a factor though). What is sad so sad? When players are not aloud to give a little flex for making a great play, and calling plays where one team players gets thrown out for retaliation after another player has done something first. When the officiating is one sided. Done!
